The makers of Chennai Express promised a ‘surprise’ during the IPL 2013 Final, but while Shahrukh Khan did discuss the film on Extra Innings T20 (and also confirmed the released date as 8th August), the rumoured teaser trailer wasn’t unveiled on the cricket show.
Now, here’s confirmation on the trailer. According to a local daily, the trailer of Chennai Express will be attached to the prints of Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 which releases in theatres on June 7th 2013.
A source close to Rohit Shetty is quoted as saying “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is a very urban film. Chennai Express has mass appeal and would work better with Yamla Pagla Deewana, decided UTV and SRK. Besides the promos are not ready yet.”
The trailer will be released on the internet on 6th June.
Starring Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, Chennai Express is a Rohit Shetty Entertainer.

@king: I have always consider u as a sensible fan of srk without any biased to other actors. But have you seen Salman news pages, guys like mohit, soroop, xzone n IMAM comments ? The day they stop that non sense about Salman we wont bother srk n his fans. I dont think that day will ever come.

I don’t have any personal grudge with “sachin11”.Nor i used to reply most of hiscomments at indicine.But sometimes it’s went unbearable to read some comments.Thats why i urged to post that comment. Now, you, too, can watch that he is making fun of a movie, which teaser is yet to be arrived.So, sometimes it feels very nasty to read such comments. And with this comment, he proved that he is living in his own fantasy world. He has no concern with the practical world.

No one is less than other in cracking such jokes.But i had replied him, because i felt that his comment is even worse than a joke. So deols got the formula to hit their movies….excellent…now there ll be an increase of at least 20 cr in the business of ypd 2 as it has an attached trailer of upcoming blockbuster ce…..a very sensible decision taken by deols…nd now, it ll be the only reason for me to watch ypd 2…..hehe…some fools r saying that this trailer ll ruin the enjoyment of ypd 2….just like trailer of ett had ruined “ishquezaade” nd trailer of dabang 2 ruined big boss’s enjoyment…isn’t it????? :P

double standard SRK fans before they are saying meaningless movies Salman Ajay and others are making, but now srk is doing same genre of movie car flying senseless comedy now they are saying it is classic masala ha ha ha grow up guys.
One more thing it will create record on youtube but tough to cross 100-cr at box office
this is SRK’s 1st masala movie after OSO(2007)…….whereas others have done only masala…….that is d difference this movie will have over the top action, comedy and everything but its just a one off movie…..SRK has not been doing this continuously from past 3-4 yrs like others………he has tried out all kinds of genre…….

Try again but for the record- Chennai Depress trailer wont increase YPD2 business by 20 cr but it may incur a loss to them of 20cr minimum. People are now having serious reservations about watching the film and may give it a miss altogether because Srk is associated with it..! Such a shame for the Deols but I’ll arrive 5 mins late so no headache for me from Chennai…!
