Bunty and Suman have split

Bunty Walia has evidence against Suman to prove that there has been a lot going on behind his back. Whilst Suman Ranganathan has sent Bunty Walia a notice demanding a flat in Pali Hill, a car and Rs 2 lakh a month as maintenance

Barely months after their marriage, Bunty Walia and Suman Ranganathan are going through a very bitter time. However, Suman is not asking for a divorce. Apparently she is demanding a hefty amount of money from Bunty.

Says a source close to the couple, “Suman has apparently sent Bunty a notice through her lawyer. She is asking for a house in Pali Hill, a car and a large sum of maintenance money, close to Rs 2 lakh a month. But, she isn’t asking for a divorce. Her lawyer wishes to sit with Bunty and work out an agreement. But, Bunty definitely wants out now.”

According to Bunty’s close friends, he’s now in consultation with his lawyer and is working out a counter-charge to Suman’s notice.

Says a well-informed source, “Bunty has enough evidence against Suman. He has phone bill print-outs to prove that there has been a lot going on behind his back. Bunty has also been talking to friends about Suman’s intense attachment to a cousin of hers from abroad and also about her friendship with her gym trainer. The end of this marriage came as a shock to Bunty. On a not-so-fine day, Suman came home and collected her things, including towels and cosmetics, and declared she was moving out. Bunty demanded that she return all his family jewels and money. Suman has yet to return those.”

This was Bunty’s second marriage. He got divorced from his first wife ten years ago.

Bunty refuses to comment beyond a few words to convey his hurt and anger. “My parents were dreaming of a family for me. My 81-year old father is shattered by this turn of events. I can’t say anything right now. My lawyer is currently looking at the matter. I will expose Suman at the right time. I thought this marriage was for keeps. I was looking at a life together, and my dream included kids too. She’s 35 and I’m 41. Both our biological clocks are ticking. I won’t ever get married again. And yes, Suman is definitely not coming back into my life. Suman was unavailable for comment.
