The hourly countdown has well and truly begun! Shahrukh Khan’s Happy New Year will release on Indian screens in less than 40 hours from now. The craze the film has managed to generate is tremendous, and the demand for tickets in advance has further encouraged the trade into believing that the film has every chance of breaking opening day records.
The early reports from those who have already seen the film is excellent, but then there has never been any big film carrying negative pre-release reports in the era of social media.

Predicting 40cr+ first day can be a bit high actually.We should think of around 34-38 cr.When you expect less and get more that is something to really cherish!!!
Anyhow 200cr+ is certain even with bad word of mouth.However it does not look like the movie has a bad worth of mouth.As everyone who has seen it is praising it!IF somehow there is as good WOM as OSO or MHN then the movie will definitely cross 300 cr + and this record will stand till at least next year!!Coz PK without a doubt will be a good movie as it has Aamir but it can not reach 300 cr+ that is for sure.
Opening day shld be 35-37 cr….hope it dose 40cr..

The scene will be same this year, more so because of the director.
At least Ra.one’ trailer was a bit better than this. This looks a rehash of Players + Tees Maar Khan.
So no matter how much we expect, finally it’ll boil down to content, which can’t be expected from a Farah Khan film.
