- 1960 era – Shammi Kapoor, Asha Parekh, Dharmendra
- 1970 era – Amitabh Bachchan, Zeenat Aman, Rekha
- 1980 era – Madhuri Dixit, Sridevi, Anil Kapoor
- 1990 era – Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Kajol
- 2000 era – Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan
- 2010 era – Who?
While the Khan’s continue their 3rd decade of dominance (and they are showing no signs of slowing down), the magazine basically talks about the new superstars of each decade. Which makes us wonder who are the superstars of this decade (i.e 2010 onwards)
Who will carry on the legacy of Bollywood when the Khan dominance ends? Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma are some names that crop up. What do you think?

I personally believe HRITHIK ROSHAN is the Superstar from the very beginning and he is the only One Man Army in the bollywood as he is the combo of talent, looks, physique, height, dance, and more so he has changed the bollywood in term of innovative sort of roles from the Koi Mil Gaya, Lakshya, Krish, Dhoom2, Jodha Akbar, Guzarish, ZNMD and in the post production Agneepath … and now many actors want to follow that works like Ranbir…. and talking about khans they tend to the same roles and now only action films. Hrithik versality is not matched by any actors in the bollywood. More so he is very down to earth as opposed to Khans— SRK – the proud, Amir – tiny cunning guys, Salman without brain and only doing actions films. Ya they are superstar but only with the masala movies.
i thks the 3 khan will still dominate the bollywood in the upcoming 5 8 years.. people around the world wait for their upcoming film to watch.. it has always been the khan , they will always remain the best, they has done so much in bollywood that no 1 can denied it, they are very far ahead.. we will always luv u shah rukh, salman n amir..
ranbir will b the new superstar. anushka will be d new female superstar.
obviously khans, hrithik and kareena will still rule, but the new superstars will be RANBIR and ANUSHKA

I think a person like hrithik really takes his work seriously and that’s the best thing about him i don’t know about the future but he has a really good chance to have a khan type of personna or even more at the age of 45 and then we would all know who will rule
Hrithik has done Srk type of films like KAHO NAA PYAAR HAI
He has done Salman type of films like krrish and dhoom 2
and now he is doing different films like znmd ,guzaarish ,agneepath so this means he has a AAMIR khan in him too.
and with AGNEEPATH & krrish 3 type of films he is really having a bright future.

For me i think it will be srk bcz his fan following is increasing day by day around the world. Then amir khan as well bcz he has great sense of script nd no one els.
But we can’t forget salman khan so three khans will again rule bollywood there can be a possibility of ranbir nd imran as well.

@samir you say khans are super stars with masala films. is 3idiots a masala film. hrithik is just lucky with most of his dad’s films. after kaho naa pyar hai this guys had 5 or 6 flops together. so he slowed down and started analyzing the script just like aamir but he still couldnt able to pick up box office like aamir or any other khan. each of three khans had more than two all time blockbuster in their first ten years and hrithik had none. 80% of his successful movies are his dad’s which clearly in my eye doesnt make him a superstar. he was lucky to have big production like dhoom 2 just like john with dhoom 1. he can only be a super star in my eye if he is willing to take any script. he chooses only good script that is why he is little famous otherwise he can never a star like khans unless he is willing to take any challanging script. as far khans are in the industry it is impossible to say that there will be any new superstar but for future ranbir kapoor is sure super star after khans not this hrithik dude

Shahrukh Khan is biggest dady of Box Office. He, who is having the 17 Blockbuster Movies out of 20 in Overseas. He achieved the most recognitions than any other actor. His fame is not only in India but all over the world. He is the indisputed King of past 20 years and still ruling as “KING OF BOLLYWOOD”.
I think Rajesh Khanna is the super star in 70th, even rajendra kumar has more superhit movies than to other superstart. Aisaria rai is not a super strat and I believe without big start (khan…) she is medium or flop.
Dilip kumar, Rajendra Kumar, Rajesh Khanna, Amithav, Sharukh, Amir, Salman and after that no one has the ability as the Super star.
