Akshay Kumar’s Blue has won the Diwali box office battle by a huge margin. The second best release, All The Best, has done less than half the business of Blue for the weekend. Here are some figures day wise for the first 4 days (approx, close to the exact nett gross)
- Day 1 (Friday) – 6,40,00,000 – opened well
- Day 2 (Saturday) – 5,35,00,000 – dropped due to Diwali
- Day 3 (Sunday) – 7,60,00,000 – Picked up big time again on Sunday and recorded the best collections for the weekend
- Day 4 (Monday) – Figures will be updated soon, movie has done good business on Monday (holiday).
Total so far for 3 days – 19,30,00,000 (19.35 crores)
Total for the extended weekend (4 days, expected nett gross) – 26,50,00,000 (26.5 crores).
Just a reminder that due to the budget, its important that the business remains steady for the rest of the week and the next weekend. With no major releases this Friday and All the Best as its only competitor, a lot would depend on the repeat audience and word of mouth.

LATEST NEWS: Box office Collection has revealed that neither Main aur Mrs Khanna nor Blue is a hit, since blue was one of the most expensive movies till date,as a result its unable to get its money back and declared a flop (average if the budget can be denied). All the best didnt open well. But has picked up its business from Monday. Keepin in mind thrz no big release this week, all the best is expected to do even better, because Blue and MAMK is already out of the race. well I think that blue could do much better business if ATB would not release on the same date. But still it have done really well. I liked it so much. Because it is hardcore bollywood action film after a long time.
I am a huge Akki fan but to be frank with you, I felt fully cheated after doing adv booking for Blue. Its not the only case in Kambaqt Ishk and tasan also. But I had no other option but to watch the movie because i did adv booking. This is not expected from Akki. Now I feel high regards for Devgan because he did not promice any wrong thing for making his movie hit.

Well first of all let me tell u all i am a neutral guy not akki fan not ajay fan not srk fan, but as far as diwali battle is concerned its ALL THE BEST which won the battle.
Tum sabne kachue aur khargosh ki race ki kahani to suni hogi blue started well but in the end its all the best which won the battle, all the best is an true comedy and honest film by ajay devgan who is turning out to be a superb comedian now.
And you all always talk about akki srk, but look at this guy Ajay devgan hit after hit but nobody talks about him last diwlai golmaal returns.
And he also have many hits under his belt like omakara, all the best,golmaal,golmaal-2,company,gangajal,apaharan,phool aur kante,dilwale,diljale,pyar to hona hi tha,ishq,hum dil de chuke sanam,kachhe dhaage,vijaypath,jigar and above all his best performance movie deewangee.
