Best Scenes in Aamir Khan’s PK

There is something about Rajkumar Hirani films that they tend to grow on you with repeat-viewing. Not just his films, his music has that quality too. Like Munnabhai M.B.B.S, Lage Raho Munnabhai, 3 Idiots and now PK, Hirani sticks to his tried-and-tested formula and strikes a perfect balance between a socially relevant topic and commercial appeal.

The response to PK, which tackles a sensitive issue like religion and god, has been astounding. The audience has not just come out in big numbers to watch the film in theatres, but have also found the film good enough to recommend it to friends and family.

Aamir Khan - Anushka Sharma PK

Below, we list 10 scenes from PK that the audience has loved (Spoiler alert, don’t continue reading if you haven’t watched the film)

  • Aamir Khan’s entry scene: PK descends onto earth, completely nude. His expressions and child-like behaviour wins over the audience in the very first scene of the film.
  • The scene at the railway stations where Jaggu spots PK distributing pamphlet in his search of god.
  • The scene where Jaggu bumps into PK at the temple. The whole scene of her dropping her clutch into the deposit box, PK sticking stickers of god on his cheeks so that he doesn’t get slapped. And also the scene that follows where PK is taken to the police station lock-up.
  • Mahatma Gandhi photo scene: PK is confused as to why vendors give food in exchange of papers with a photo of Mahatma Gandhi. He begins to collect notebooks, stamps and everything else that has photos of Gandhi.
  • A couple of short scenes where PK adjusts the trousers of a barber. He also realises that wearing a police uniform gets him things to eat as well as money.
  • Sanjay Dutt has a small role in the film, but his scenes with PK are heart-warming.
  • The Bhagwan song and all those scenes during the song will make you cry, while also making you realise the kind of impact that religion and blind-beliefs have on the society.
  • Shiva chasing scene and yet another fake baba sitting in mid-air: This scene has become quite controversial on social media. A group of people have taken screen-caps that are made to look like PK is threatening Lord Shiva by holding the ‘trishul’ to his neck, but if you go watch the film, the ‘toilet’ scene wasn’t one bit offensive.
  • The scene where PK takes a coconut to a church and breaks it (background music takes this scene to another level), quickly followed by a scene where he take wine to the mosque.
  • Stone converted into idol near a college, immediately starts collecting money. Comparisons with a tea-vendor summed up the terrifically written scene.

Those were our best scenes from the film. What’s yours? Post them in the comments section below!

  • My 2 favorite scenes.

    1. PK in the hospital to check baby’s religion. Funny yet thoughtful. Reminded me of “What is a machine?” scene from 3I.

    2. The best scene was. ‘Fashion’ where PK demonstrates the attire change from Sikh to Hindu to Muslim. It was a masterstroke of writing!

  • People laughed the most for that Barber scene but there r lot more scenes than these scenes described here which r very good and can be enjoyed by watching the movie only.

  • PK – a sex movie… if you want to know about condom watch PK, they told a perfect explanation of condom.. #SHAME..

  • Each and every scene of the movie is enjoyable. But the best scene I guess was when he asks questions about God to the shopkeeper

  • There are so many memorable scenes that it is difficult to tell one favorite scene like dancing car; wrong number and thappa scenes.I had a memorable time watching PK with my 8 friends.Everyone should watch PK if they have still not watched

  • all of them what u mentioned…

    but one more…
    pk he kya??
Aamirkhan:- haa,but aap sabhay ko kaise pata
police:-(blush) abe 10 saalo se hu police me kon pk he aur kon nai yu pata chal jata he..

  • @iamAKN If you have knowledge about something and you used it from your childhood does not means that other also have knowledge about it.There is nothing shameful in that scene

  • @Indicine – yes it is a shame… everyone already knows about condom, putting nude scenes, showing ass, taking and discussing ‘condom’ is not a edcuation… PK sort of movie can’t be watched with Families atleast i can watch infront of my family… how other can? and one thing more.. when other use ‘Condom’ word in movies then people say it is a bad to use such a word like this we have seen in many movies but when Aamir/Hirani used it in PK then its not a shame? it is a education? LOL.. Quite funny…No?

    • How could you even say this? Its quite hard to imagine how conservative you mind can be. Irrespective of condom or sex, any literary text or movie that exhales this notion is not something to be downtrodden as you are trying to do. Every aspect of this movie is trying to educate us in very sense, so you would rather be educated than denying it on the basis of your own rigid mentality.

  • @Bulli : don’t know about others but Seems like you have more knowledge, information about condom than anyone else here even may be more than Aamir, Anushka or Hirani who has explain it in the movie.. you know that people use it in childhood too i just knew from you now, may be you and ur parents, siters family is using it, Quite possible…..!!

  • @indicine u forgot 5 epic scenes
1 luv is waste of time antara where aamir tries to impress anushkw
    2 rk special appearance
3 bhagwan hai kaha re tu visuals
    4 condom scene
5 anushka’s father whistling and clapping in the end

basically every scene of pk is memorable.

  • The film is very good . but not so good was the last 30 minute film ..film easily cross 300 crore club in india.

  • Bhagwan hai kaha re tu was the best scene in the film, that song is the feel of that film and its picturization, singing and lyrics along with soulful music are icing on the cake.
Still I think its not time to publish article like this because pk have to go long from now.

  • Dil Darbadar where Aamir is thrown out of car n he removes all religious symbol is best scene. One can feel PKs emotions n eyes get wet with tears !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @IamAKN : n you gladly watched Conjum Conjum in Ra.One where parents talk in conjum conjum language in front of their kid. At least PK makers did not involve any kids in that scene. Ra.one promised to be a Sci-Fi super hero contains conjum conjum dialogues n a song like Criminal !!!!!!!!

  • @iaman…come out of your well. That well is not the whole world. It is through people like you that has resulted in the explosion of the Indian population. I think that scene was the best opportunity for you to pass on some sex education to your children. You people fucken breed like rabbits and don’t want to talk about sex education. Bloody hypocrites.

  • saw the film again and loved it more this time……

climax scene in confrontation with the swami….

in the end before going….he says tume ub thodi karte hai jo tumpe time bhest kare (while saying this his lower lip is shivering) and then he walks with tears in his eyes….

    hospital scene….kauno thappa hai kya?

and so many others…..brilliant acting from aamir….he speaks bhojpuri as if he was born in a bhojpuri family….
