Q. Why Dhoom brand is famous among us as all the movies have weak plots especially Dhoom 3? Are we fascinated by Bikes or something else is there?
A. Dhoom was a 12 crore film, Dhoom 2 was made on 30 crore budget. 150 crore was invested into Dhoom 3. The makers have not only upped the scale with each new film, but have also opted for bigger stars. This ensures that they get the biggest release periods, so it’s highly likely that the next Dhoom film will either feature Salman Khan (strong reports) or Shah Rukh Khan.
Content-wise the audience don’t expect a classic either – some good songs, stunning leading ladies, a bit of humour and action. Script has never really been the strong point of any Dhoom film, except maybe the first. YRF also doesn’t overdo it – one Dhoom film every 5 years seems to be the target. In short, Dhoom films are packaged and timed well. That’s the USP of the franchise.

And why her film after Guru which was titled something like ‘Jodha Akbar’ became superhit…? Hrithik have shown numerous variations through his act in Dhoom 2!! Be it his performance, dance, looks, physique, chemistry with Aish , sex appeal, eye contacts,smartness, attitude, he completely nailed it.
John was good with his bike-riding , he delivered a good performance, but obviously he was not as good as Hrithik..
And if someone thinks Aamir was best in Dhoom series , then I must say he is a blind person!
The morons who are barking here against Dhoom 2 have not seen the euphoria associated with D2 before and after the release or they are conveniently forgetting the fact coz they have to bash Hrithik no matter what Lol! I am helping them here by throwing some light into their frozen brains :P

@ Thug, don’t compare Aishwarya’s glam film for some deglam roles…….and Jodha Akbar had Ashutosh as director, and the movie is titled Jodha first and Akbar second, so obviously it is Aishwarya first and Hro who played second fiddle…….lolz….am just kidding…..hahaha…
I am not a fan of Aishwarya and I hate her acting, but she was absolutely cool in the film, and it did help the movie in the collections. A movie being a hit involves a contribution from everyone, and to say only Hro was the deciding factor in the collections is insulting all others.
When I said Aamir is a big factor in D3, I also added the contribution of D1 and its popularity, and also Katrina’s glam quotient.

And don’t bark on aamir, because even with so called pathetic script dhoom 3 was ATBB that’s called stardom. While dhoom 2 was only blockbuster with better script. In stardom Aamir is miles ahead of hritik. And yeah, who can forget krish 3’s manipulated collections. Don’t force me to bash hrithik and stay in your limit.
D2 was best. Even D3 was also best.
