Q. Why Dhoom brand is famous among us as all the movies have weak plots especially Dhoom 3? Are we fascinated by Bikes or something else is there?
A. Dhoom was a 12 crore film, Dhoom 2 was made on 30 crore budget. 150 crore was invested into Dhoom 3. The makers have not only upped the scale with each new film, but have also opted for bigger stars. This ensures that they get the biggest release periods, so it’s highly likely that the next Dhoom film will either feature Salman Khan (strong reports) or Shah Rukh Khan.
Content-wise the audience don’t expect a classic either – some good songs, stunning leading ladies, a bit of humour and action. Script has never really been the strong point of any Dhoom film, except maybe the first. YRF also doesn’t overdo it – one Dhoom film every 5 years seems to be the target. In short, Dhoom films are packaged and timed well. That’s the USP of the franchise.

Abhisek Bachhan is a superstar. The Dhoom series belongs to him and Uday Chopra only. Other superstars come and go but AB is the face of Dhoom franchise. Also love the teri maa behen maa behen rap by Abhisek in housefull 3

Well all things and actors that came on board were very good.
The the one man who deserves special is “HRITHIK ROSHAN”.
He just took sexiness, style quotient with those killer looks and Amazing acting to an altogether different level. He will always remain unmatchable. Dhoom:2 is one of the best action thrillers and all credit goes to him. He really made the Brand Dhoom what it really is today. Many more series will come but his Aura and Persona will not be matched by any actor how big that actor is.

Dhoom 2 was crap with even crappier overacting by HR who tried too hard to look cool. Bang Bang was another such film.
Agreed that in the looks and dancing department he overshadows Aamir but when it comes to acting then he’s just a kid in front of Aamir. Just doing a film every 2 years doesn’t make one an Aamir.
All three movies had big plotholes and came across as poor imitations of the Fast & Furious movies, just like srk’s Don movies look like C-grade Bond movies.
Hrithik took dhoom franchise to all together diff level ….he was just cool & d best so far…no one can match his charisma..dhoom villian needs an attitude which john & Hrithik had….amir was a mismatch(terrible acting) …ash was also superb…kat was wasted…Hrithik has given dhoom franchise d required boost…hrithik will be know d best dhoom actor no matter who does it coming films…if yrf needs to make d4 plz bring hritik again for final showdown….nothing can bigger than that….dont waste ur money on khans..they will ruin it just like aamir did in d3.
