Besharam has dropped quite significantly at multiplexes on its second day at the box office. Even in Delhi NCR and East Punjab where the film performed very well on Wednesday, had occupancy of around 30% for the morning shows.
In most other circuits the Ranbir Kapoor starrer is down by 50-60%. The film didn’t perform too well in the B and C centres of India on Day 1, these centres are reportedly holding up better than big cities where the word is already out that the film is not upto the mark content-wise.
Unless the evening and night shows pick-up, Thursday business is likely to be around 8 – 9 crore net. If the film drops to those levels, then crossing the 100 crore mark might well be an uphill task.
Besharam has been made on a budget of Rs 80 crore including print and publicity. Satellite rights has to been pre-sold to Zee Entertainment for Rs 30 with a link to its box office performance. The film needs to collect around 105-110 crore for HIT status.

My friends just got back watching Besharam since they booked ticket in advance. The film is absolute bakwas and they told me that many people have left the film after intermission. It was that boring

YJHD had the budget of 45 cr and collected 190cr+ (Barfi Rockstar hits and RK-Ayan Combination made a magic see ROI was more than 300%)
Besharam budget 80Cr but 100Cr+ looks like impossible saturday and sunday will be real test
But no problem for Ranbir he will be back for sure He is next Aamir Khan his next movie like ROY,Bombay velvet,Jaggas jassos ,Imtiaz alis next and Ayan Mukerjees super heros concept will make him to join in big league atleast 2-3 movies will become BBs So Ranbir Fans Just Chill out Be Proud to be Ranbirs Fan but i agree Besharam was his mistake which he will not repeat

I wonder when Ranbir said that he is a superstar… He has never said that…eventhough he is… With that much of negativity around…without hit music,..without a good script.. a new female lead.. film did 20cr+ on day 1… If it’s not stardom then WHAT????? The day masala films die out..all uncles will have to stay at home.. (Except SRK..He’s a good actor..minus Chennai Express) .. Ranbir is a good actor.. One flop can do NOTHING to his career..
