Bangistan and Mission Impossible 5 Box Office Opening

Bangistan has opened to a very poor response at the domestic box office on Friday. In fact, last week’s Drishyam had better occupancy for the morning shows, as compared to the Excel Entertainment produced film which has taken a opening of around 5-10%.

To recover costs, Bangistan will now rely on word-of-mouth publicity. Growth on Saturday will be crucial for the film, but the early reports are not positive.

Hollywood release ‘Mission Impossible 5: Rogue Nation’ has taken an excellent opening of 35 – 40%. The response at metro cities for the morning shows was much better than most Hindi films that have released this year. Some multiplexes were running at nearly 60-70% in the noon and the advance booking is good too. The dubbed Hindi version of the Tom Cruise film hasn’t opened well.
