Bajrangi Bhaijaan has recorded the 3rd highest weekend collections of all time, behind Shah Rukh Khan’s Happy New Year and Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3.
The Salman Khan starrer could have challenged the highest weekend of all time record, if the film had released after the Ramadan period.
Dhoom 3 is the only film to release on a normal weekend, with just one holiday (Sunday), and more than 100 crore in its first weekend.

It’s a great film, doing outstanding business. Thanks to producer, director, and all the people associated with the film for giving us a fine movie to watch.
Still biggest superstar remains only aamir followed by salman. srk is nowhere close except manipulation. dhoom 3 had only 1 holiday still it’s on 2nd spot. that proves that aamir is biggest followed by salman as 2nd biggest. srk is no where close to aamir in stardom. period.
Still bollywood is nothing without the real megastar aamir khan. srk and salman are just regular local stars. aamir is real megastar. can’t wait for dangal.

Bhai worked with acclaimed blockbuster director in a content rich(!) Film and released it in Eid weekend and got two lucrative festive holidays in first weekend, still couldn’t beat any single opening record without manipulation, still bhai fans think that bhai is ahead of Aamir in India! Shame bhai fans, shame!
Bhai says in the film that, bhai doesn’t lie; but what about bhai fans? Why are they lying about Aamir that Aamir is not biggest superstar in India!
It must also be noted that HNY & Dhoom3 was released in Tamil & Talgu Languages. So now Bajrangi Bhaijaan holds the all time highest weekend collection in Hindi.
bajrangi bhaijaan is a nice movie but at many parts emotions over take the logic….

Bajrangi Bhaijaan Monday (4th Day) Collection Update, Unstoppable Storm!
Bajrangi Bhaijaan is just unstoppable storm at box office as early reports of Monday (4th day) is coming in. Film is just putting up numbers which any other film will proudly put in weekend. Film has opened to big occupancy from first shows itself. This is rare for weekdays. Film has opened to very well 45% occupancy in Early Morning and Morning shows. After that film has just zoomed further up and as per latest putting up huge 70% occupancy for Noon shows. This is simply unbelievable.
Already many shows again reported Houseful. This is commendable considering today is normal working day. Monday trend of BB suggest that from Evening onward occupancy of the film will be above 80%. Word of mouth has picked up huge and film is heading for a Historic Monday box office figures. Only issue is ticket prices of Monday which are lower than Friday and hence, drop in collection will be bigger than the drop in occupancy.
BB has thus not only passed Monday test flying colors, but has in fact got more than distinction marks.

To those who are saying hny’s figures are manipaulated, you are in delusion. Why the hell would anyone fudge their figures and pay more taxes..thoda sa dimag lagao…thoda sa bas…and moreover isn’t ut great that salman’s movie has done tremendous business, so be happy,celebrate..why there is a need to drag others actors and criticise them if BB didnt have the highest weekend…ppl plz grow up…
@indicine Agreed that you follow official figures and why not? it is mighty tough to track collections. But you only had said during krrish 3 controversy that over the years you have built decent enough network have reliable sources who can report you the collections. Then why don’t you use that and follow those figures? In a time when box office collection is used as only yardstick for measuring success of a movie and stardom of an actor, the producers can easily inflate figures and fool around with fans. Ex: Zid could not have collected 3.5 crores on day 1, but it was reported and accepted by audience too. 3.5 cr is a figure that even a hasee toh phasee, bipasha basu starrers or mardanis find hard to achieve. We will know whether both BOI’s manipulate figures only if more websites come to fore and give their own figures obtained from their respective network and sources.
@Sandy, it would be hard work to track figures on a daily basis, but it would probably be worth it if we would manage to create a genuinely trust worthy source. But the problem is, that will create more confusing. Also, fans want to believe the bigger number and rest want to go with the least figure. So it’s not worth the time or effort.
I thought with two holidays and excellent wom a superstar can deliver atleast 120 crs weekend.. but considering salman as a superstar it underperforms a bit.. today it will be clear where it goes as far as lifetime business is concerned..
@indicine very well said that even trade sites can manipulate.. for example boi published dhoom3 weekend as 94 crs at the time of release then few days back they told 99 crs hindi version and today said 97 crs.. for hny they published 40 crs hindi version for the first day then at the time of pk release changed it to 36 crs.. for pk 3rd day they published 37 crs and now telling 38.25 crs.. are they getting datas even after 3 or 6 months of the release of a movie and changing their previous update? They are telling bb weekend collection as 100.5 crs now then after few months they will change that to 97 crs, dhoom 3 weekend will be changed to 95 crs, hny weekend will be changed to 90 crs and ce weekend will be changed to 80 crs. Ridiculous..
