Bajrangi Bhaijaan has become the first Salman Khan film to take an extraordinary opening in the overseas markets. The film has collected Rs 51 crore in its opening weekend and is likely to surpass the lifetime overseas total of Salman’s previous highest grosser KICK (Rs 70 crore) in its first week itself.
In a sign of growing overseas popularity, Salman films will now be competing with those of Shahrukh Khan. Happy New Year, which is the 6th highest overseas grosser of all time, collected Rs 101 crore overseas and that record could be surpassed by Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
There is also an outside chance for the film to challenge the overseas records of some of the biggest grossers in Indian Cinema – 3 Idiots, My Name Is Khan and Chennai Express.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan has also grossed Rs 226 crore worldwide (4 days India collections, 3 days overseas collections). It should eventually go on to be Salman’s first 400 crore grosser and possibly his first 500 crore grosser too!

BB’s 4days worldwide gross collections are around 238-240cr, which is highest ever for any Bollywood movie.
Can’t blame Kabir Khan for showing same match live twice in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, bcoz there is only one match where Afridi won a match for Pak
King yet to get 15cr opening day with non holiday release & Bhai is giving 27cr+ Monday collections… Too much fun.

If BB release in china than it may create history there too, MNIK is non holiday relesed film did $23million in oversease in 2010 n 1st film which cross 100cr mark. Good content films always did huge in oversease n hope Fan n Raees bring back srk.

In Myanmar still didn’t release Bajrangi Bhaijaan. All my Muslim friends waiting for BB even all Muslim waiting. Infact still DVD copy didn’t out in myanmar. Last year Jai ho copy i get Friday release day. But BB not out yet.., i ask DVD seller when out BB copy, he said, we prepared for 100000 DVD copy. So it will be out this Friday. I’m shocked 100000 DVD out.
