Salman Khan’s Bhaijaan Bhaijaan has made it to the Top 20 Highest Single Day collections of all time. With the film netting Rs 27.25 crore on Day 1, the Kabir Khan directed film has posted the 19th highest collections on a single day.
The list is dominated by the Khans, each of them have 6 highest single day collections to their credit and all those films that made it to the Top 20 have released during Eid, Diwali or Christmas. The only exceptions are Ajay Devgn’s ‘Singham Returns’ and Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Bang Bang’.

Some films hv so many soul touching moments and endearing characters plus a strong message that u r bound to overlook their flaws and just clap for them.
Megastar salmans bajrangi bhaijaan surprisingly belongs to that category. the simple often silly but a soul touching film is about a cute angelic mute girl named sahida after sahid afridi who gets lost in india but finds solace and family in hanuman devotee pawan kumar chaturvedi who makes it his mission to drop the girl in her house in Pakistan by overcoming all obstacles.
Salman as bajrangi is in top form.he is so earnest and sweet in his character that u fall in luv with him like never bfr.salmans innocence onscreen is definitely back.harshaali as sahida is outstanding and she is the biggest usp of the film.nawaz is brilliant yet again while kareena om puri r all superb .
Even though the the film drags in d first half but several scenes like bajrangi rescuing the girl from brothel,bhaijann discovering her real identity etc r superb.
But its in 2nd half that the real action begins.the film reaches its peak in the awesome zindagi song but it is slightly let down by the silly manipulative climax
Kabir is again at d top of the game and prvds himself as one of best director of Indian cinema
Overall 8/10 from my side.its simple silly yet so endearing and entertaining that its a must watch

Went to watch Bajrangi Bhaijaan yesterday in the noon show,occupancy was around 75% for my show.Let’s begin:
Bajrangi Bhaijaan is a story of an innocent naive UP guy settled in Delhi and his love for a little mute pakistani girl which knows no limits.It is this love,his magnanimous spirit and some circumstances which leads Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi aka Bajrangi to take this girl to her parents in pakistan.
The film starts off well with the scenes of little girl Shahida(named after “Shahid” Afridi) and her parents.She’s taken to india with her mom to seek blessings for her in a much revered Dargah.On their return to Pakistan,the little girl somehow manages to miss the train.And there she is all alone,with no voice of her,lost in an alien country.
Arrives our Bhai,who is greeted with whistles and claps as usual.After clicking few selfies,Bajrangi meets the little girl Shahida who he now calls Munni(bhai still in Dabangg mode).He decides to take her home,on their way Bajrangi confronts some passengers in the bus who are greatly interested in knowing his back story,so bajrangi begins reciting his back story.This part really dragged on,full of forced comedy and irritated me after a point.The romantic part of salman and kareena(her cheeks appeared too pink) is a bit half baked one.There are funny scenes in this half though,like the one in which Munni is found grabbing a chicken leg or the one where she starts dancing seeing Pak win over india(quite goofy though,they shown the same match at the beginning of the film too).Then there are quite a few emotional ones too,Munni(played by Harshali Malhotra) and Bajrangi share a cracking chemistry.The little girl is sure to win hearts just by her cuteness.Music is strictly average and nowhere in comparison to salman’s last few blockbusters.Tu chahiye,Chicken song(plain awful,was’nt required at all) does’nt work.First half was above average for me,though it ends quite well.
Second half is all about Bajrangi’s hardship,his journey to take Munni to pakistan without passport,Visa crossing border beneath the boundary wires.Kabir Khan has enjoyed quite a few cinematic liberties but most of them can be overlooked.Second half is much better than the first.The pace improves which was a bit sluggish throughout the first half,Salman’s looks’ improves,he now dons a rugged look which suits him much more than the clean shave one and last but not the least,this half has Nawazuddin Siddique! Believe me,he got the similar applause as was received by Salman.And when he joins Bajrangi and munni,they create some of the most memorable moments of the film.Bhar do jholi song works well.Last 45 min. of the film are really high on emotional quotient.You feel for Bajrangi when he gets bashed by the police,infact there was stun silence in the theatre which proves the audience were quite moved.The climax is one of the best I have witnessed in recent times,last few scenes were too poignant for me to handle.And yes Bajrangi Bhaijaan made me shed few tears.And I loved the song Tu Jo Mila sung by my fav. KK which plays at the end of the film.
On the whole Bajrangi Bhaijaan is Salman’s best film in years and it deserves to be lauded,audience were quite happy with happy with film which makes me to say without any doubt that at the boxoffice Bajrangi Bhaijaan should cross Dhoom 3,though surpassing PK would prove difficult.And if it sustains well on the weekdays,then it could well be Salman’s first 300crs grosser.
Overall it’s a 3.75/5 from my side!

you haven’t post any article on the advance booking , first day early morning estimate , how much we thing the will earn on first day or lifetime, what was the reviews , while during srk’s flop films you post all these , when srk earn 43 cr on a holiday and you compare them with other films ,

In trade list the highest spot is occupied by pk 3rd day collection.
Meanwhile Aamir has a unique record with dhoom 3 that he achieved the highest single day collection twice in first weekend, on 1st day that too on working day and then 3rd day on Sunday. Meanwhile there is other stars who fudged first day figure with 20% and later confused on second day when the collection fell down like a rocket and they thought let not to give official figure and then came up with manipulated 108cr weekend figures. Too much fun.
Indicine need correction, you missed bangbang official first day figure, pk first day figure also missed which is higher than kick.

Here indicine has clearly mentioned all the Official figures. And the official opening day collection of Bang Bang was 27.54 crores! And Even if you will follow boi, K3 4th day and BB day 1 will still remain in top 20 single day records. So grow up!

first thing i wanna clear that i am not from salmir group. i am a Salman fan only and aamir is my second favourite and i dont like srk. pk doesnt deserves that much collection. an alien only teachs you about his way but with hurting religions. why he dont talk about his planet’s problem? our world is not perfect and nothing is perfect in this world but why we should walk on the way an alien show to us. i dont know his world is perfect or not.
