The theatrical trailers of two keenly-awaited Christmas releases, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani and Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale, have been released.
Both films have been made on a budget of more than Rs 100 crore and recovery for one of the two films might prove to be difficult.
Dilwale was always going to be the bigger film, after all it had a massive star cast featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. Varun himself is a bigger star than Ranveer Singh and SRK is in a different league altogether.
The added advantage for Dilwale is Rohit Shetty, one of the top directors in the industry, whose track record at the box office can only be rivalled by the likes of Rajkumar Hirani and Rakesh Roshan.
But the battle for box office supremacy has probably evened out after the makers of Bajirao Mastani have released a theatrical trailer that has impressed the audience, critics and the trade. Come 18th December, Dilwale will still have the upper hand, but Bajirao Mastani is a magnum opus and a film that the audience would want to experience on the big screen.

As a neutral audience, there is just no competition. Bajirao Mastani is way way ahead in terms of Trailer appeal and movie content.
This trailer proves one thing, BM has everything in it to beat Dilwale in the long run.

dilwale trailer has been most liked trailer of all time on youtube. hands down.
I love SRK, but Dilwale pales so badly in comparison to Bajirao Mastani. Dilwale is looking like Happy Golmaal Express. We’ve seen it all before already. These masala movies are only stealing our hard earned money. BM looks spectacular in every sense of the word. Sorry SRK, Fan and Raees look much better though.
There is no iota of doubt that Dilwale will score close to double of Bajirao Mastani. But as a neutral audience as none of contains my favs, I will watch Bajirao in theatre and enjoy dilwale on TV. Till the BM trailer released yesterday there was nothing which made me eager to watch BM but the trailer changed the scenerio completely. As an audience we are demanding why not Bollywood try different but actual problem lies within the audience itself,when something tried different and want to release best possible time the whole media and trade keep pressure on them to postpone the release as A superstar coming with his movie which doesn’t have anything different which he hasn’t done so far. Ridiculous.

There are lots of reason that Dilwale win the battle so easily. Here are some reasons-
1. Historical films always hated by bollyyood audience. For example ‘Asoka the Great, Veer, Monghol Pandy’ Then how can we expect so much from BM? (Baahuboli is not a bollywood film, mind it)
2. In india, Box office always depends on star power not the genre. if you look highest grossing movie over the years all are SRK, Aamir, Salman or Hrittick starrar movie. Hou can we expect a ranveer singh starrar movie make fight against SRK movie?
3. Shahrukh Khan, who never lost a battle in his career. He is the marketing guru of bollywood. He always loved to destroy other movies when they dare to fight against him.
4. The dilwale trailer already breaks every records in Youtube. It again proved people are hugely interested about the movie. It already the most liked trailer ever. it proved people take it the best trailer erer.
5. SRK & Kajol (The magical combo of Bollywood). People always egarly wait to watch their romane in movies.
I am not sure that dilwale is better movie of BM or not. But I am 100 persent sure that it will destroy BM at box office.
BM trailer is way better than 3rd class trailer of Dilwale. Dilwale is a guarantee disaster.

About the set,production scale,action sequences
As the trailer prolongs,we used to see a set having ceratain very ordinary war sequences that already we had seen in jodha Akbar.and the most irritating thing that bhansali is trying to show is only the dancing floor inside the raj mahal(we can think it as dancing mahal because till now we have only shown the deewanii/pingaa type useless nautankj songs inside the palace).and then along with the set some relation affairs had been shown ,then again the story switched over to another war sequences where ranveer started to flying in air toward the elephant to kill it’s rider which is not at all seeming 1% real because the hevay use of ropes can be easily predictable from the scene looks very pathetic.
And bhansali only tried to show the dancing floor with the very ordinary battle ground feeling with sand looking nothing at least 1% grand that of baahubali/or any big Hollywood movies.and they only usually show the inside palace over and over again with out no reason(though the battle ground looks so tiny and completely dull with no eccitwment and wrriors are seeing hopeless,ROFL.
And the most disaapointed thing of all ,bhansali couldn’t able to show at least one heroic battle stunt by the bajirao peshwa,then on which basis people will for to theatre to watch this non sense and will spend 500rs+ in multiplexes?????as single screen is not at all available to bajirao.
So my rating for war sequences—-1.5/5
About Performances of star cast
Pathetic of all is ranveer’s shivering.is he telling dialogues—-HAR HAR MAHADEV or shivering like —-HARRRR HARRRRR MAHADEV.seeming like he is fearing of the opponents,his voice is not at all strong being a warrior,now I have a doubt did the real bajirao peshwa had such weakest voice?????,ROFL.and Priyanka’s emotions gave a new touch to the trailer,but Deeipka’s act dissapointed a lot.she is behaving like model rather than a price/queen/warrior or whatever in the movie.
So started from the 1st ,when ranveer,deepika alongside riding horses,it looks like ranveer is hopeless and deepika the comes with a model expression as she is going to give a that expression on a ramp show,ROFL.certain other starcast’s acting is completely overrated just like in film guzarish.then at the middle ranveer-deepika (bajirao-mastani) affairs started,and you won’t believe(so again watch),it completely seems like Ram Leela-part II instead of bajirao mastani.and even a girl can give better dialogue delivery than talentless ranveer Singh.and just see while he was laughing.his laughing neither shows any happiness/sorrow/fury rather than seems like a mockery intended for know reason.
My question to bansali is film bana rahe ho ya bajirao ki izzat nikal rahe ho?
Then comes to story I can say sanjay leela bansali wants to show Ram Leela-II instead of bajirao mastani.ranveer is so pathetic actor ,if we replace bobby darling instead of him then we can get Better result.

And over and over again.this seems like more a extra marital affairs rather than a A STORY indaicating GLORY OF A WARRIOR.it proved ranveer joker couldn:t be fitted into bajirao peshwa’s role.and Deepika is behaving like model who is trying to act but couldn’t due to lack of confidence.only +be side shown by PC.that doesn’t mean such a big glory based movie will even will be like by audience containing weak war sequences,poor dialogue deliveries,weak acting,ranveer’s shivering,and only affairs,affairs,affairs,affairs,nothing new.
In every department rather in storyline/script,performance of every star cast except PC,stunts,creativity ,in everything bajirao mastani failed.
I don’t know in which way @indicine called it magnum opus(may be the way how they gave 4/5 star to a shit mahacrap of millenium movie like prdp recently)?????,ROFL.this is the film of a great warrior,not deewani-pinga containing danceed floor containing shivering ranveer and model deepika’s affair story with full of overacting and with low grade war sequences.ranveer as bajirao didn’t at a looks aggressive being a warrior,ROFL.

My advise ro peope,Still you want to ruin your holiday over this untruthful extra marital affairs rather than a warrior’s glory by spending 500-1000rs in mutiplexes.then no comments on your stupidity,and stay safe from overacting over melodrama more and gloryless bhajipao langda(not bajirao mastani) movie.and nothing hatred lies behind this review as point point of my review based on TRUTH ,if you have doubt than you can compare my words with the trailer,the you’ll came to know about my unbiased and truth based honest review thanks.
Dilwale is best trailer
It’s nice to see , all so called “intellectuals” (oops morons) are coming out of their shell.
So its like – one side SRK is standing alone like a lion, with his loyal army . On the other side, all jackals have been gathered backing Bhansali and BM just to degrade SRK and Dilwale.
But again I am giving an open challenge to all you morons. Gather as much support as you can. Ask your family, friends and colleagues to watch at least 5 shows of BM per day. And I dare you if you make the collections of BM at least 1 rs more than Dilwale.
And when I say this, its the word of a MAN and not of few women like Shaggy and Chuha.
Come one, bring it on. The actual fun has started just now. :D :D

trailer of bajirao mastani is much better than dilwale,,,,but due to the presence of srk-kajol and rohit ,dilwale will take the biggest opening but after first weekend content will decide the fate of two films………….
Positives of BM.
1. The Casting, among young actors no one can look convincing as Bajirao the way Ranveer Singh is looking, I always feel that Ranveer is dark horse in Bollywood who has terrific acting talent but need to control over enthusiasm. Deepika is looking good and Ranveer- Deepika pair is most suitable among young leads and they were successful with same director.
Priyanka Chopra is the most perfect choice for Kashibai and she already said the role is milestone in her career.
2. The director- BM is dream project of SLB and I am hearing this film from long time that he wished to make. He is a brilliant director with classics in his hand like Khamoshi,HDDCS,Devdas & Black.
So he will give 200% in this film and trailer shows that he is superb.
3. The Scale and lavish sets where war scenes looking great, the interior of Palace is huge.
4. The tension among three lead pair come evident in trailer is appealing which having very good dialogues.
Negatives-
Ranveer dialogue delievery is bit dull.
The Budget.
Mark my words those are voting for BM not going to watch it on thaeter if reviews are mixed otherwise PRDP cross 200cr oho sorry 350cr too much fun
trailer is not everything and if you go by trailer than even Bombay Velvet/Roy/Shaandar trailer was impressive.
