Ranveer Singh’s Bajirao Mastani has shown no drop in business on Day 6 at the box office, as the film was running at around the same level of occupancy as Tuesday on Wednesday.
The film is now looking at a first week total of around 85-86 crore as the extended Christmas weekend begins today and business should begin to pick up towards the end of the day.
The next three days starting with the national holiday for Christmas on Friday and another holiday on Sunday, will be important days for the film. If business on one of those days crosses the 15 crore mark, Bajirao Mastani is set to be a huge 150 crore plus grosser at the box office.
The Sanjay Leela Bhansali film has also retained most of its screens in Week 2 and the number of shows are as high as the first week too, some centres have increased shows because the film is performing very well.
There will be a bigger crunch for screens and shows at multiplexes in cities, because a big Hollywood film ‘Star Wards: The Force Awakens’ releases in theatres tomorrow – preview shows begin today, evening onwards.

watched both the movies:
BM : Not as good as being projected, just an ok movie. second half is very slow
Dilwale: not as bad as being projected, better than HNY. SRK must avoid these type of masala movies as he is capable of very good movies.
Just one thing is sure people/trade are trying very hard to declare BM as very good movie so as to bring down dilwale and the strategy has worked till now.
Both movies will do business in same range of 150 cr,
As for people who say SRK is finished, one movie doesn’t ends someones career. And he has achieved more than what most of the people can even think of. So instead of hating him, learn from him. He is institution in himself.

Some websites are saying that West Bengal and South India are holding Dilwale’s collections otherwise it has crashed at other circuits.
BM has shown gowth today both in morning and noon. Has high chances of crossing 10 cr. today.

@Noam : I know buddy. Even I feel, Dilwale will go past Indicine predictions. They made it too low I guess. Also, not sure why Indicine was in so much hurry this time . Very second day, they came with an article saying “Worrying signs for Dilwale”.
Perhaps they were under huge pressure because of BM as they predicted very low for BM and once they saw, BM is doing well , they completely ignored Dilwale.
