Ranveer Singh’s Bajirao Mastani has shown no drop in business on Day 6 at the box office, as the film was running at around the same level of occupancy as Tuesday on Wednesday.
The film is now looking at a first week total of around 85-86 crore as the extended Christmas weekend begins today and business should begin to pick up towards the end of the day.
The next three days starting with the national holiday for Christmas on Friday and another holiday on Sunday, will be important days for the film. If business on one of those days crosses the 15 crore mark, Bajirao Mastani is set to be a huge 150 crore plus grosser at the box office.
The Sanjay Leela Bhansali film has also retained most of its screens in Week 2 and the number of shows are as high as the first week too, some centres have increased shows because the film is performing very well.
There will be a bigger crunch for screens and shows at multiplexes in cities, because a big Hollywood film ‘Star Wards: The Force Awakens’ releases in theatres tomorrow – preview shows begin today, evening onwards.

Watched PRDP. Extremely disappointed. Sallu’s worst film in a long long time. Badjatya tried to do a yash chopra cum hirani but forgot to do a badjatya. That is make an entertaining family film with romance as subplot.
End Result- a boring clichéd romance with stupid twists and only a few badjatya style scenes.

BM is doing really solid business in the weekdays . After getting good numbers in the first weekend they are putting good numbers in the weekdays and is making a strong impact at the Box Office . Apart from the clash the collections of BM prove two things – Audience are willing to see Young Actors on Holidays except the Khans, Hrithik, Ajay and Akshay . Audience are also willing to see different kind of movies not just commer potboilers . Till the release of Wazir BM can do superb business and can post a strong healthy domestic and worldwide total .
Public expectations for BM were nothing & BM is a serious film & not a masala genre film so even if BM is a boring film nobody can call it a mindless movie that’s why bm is gaining advantage. On the other hand when dilwale shows got cancelled people went on to watch BM whereby bm is collecting more but some Indians are so nonsense that they don’t understand the real fact. Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani have held up very well on Wednesday as both films will see minimal drops. The business of Dilwale will be 8.25 crore nett apprx and Bajirao Mastani 9.25 crore nett apprx. Much awaited clash is finally here and ‘Bajirao Mastani’ has released in middle of noise, anticipation and a bit of uncertainty regarding screen size and advance. Film has big cast, interesting promo and huge scale.
Film released in 3050 screens all over India. Film collected 12.80 cr nett cr nett on Friday which is not great or bad figure its just average. Film got good reviews and that translated into the numbers on Saturday. Film collected 15.52 cr nett on Saturday with 20% growth. Film again grew by 12% and collected 18.45 cr nett on Sunday. Film was rock solid on Monday and collected 10.25 cr nett with 20% drop from Friday followed by 5% drop further drop On Tuesday and collection of 9.40 cr nett. Film added 9.21 cr nett on Wednesday with minimal drop.
Film has weekend total of 46.77 cr nett and 6 day total of 75.63 cr nett. Film is suffering badly in overseas due to ‘Star Wars’ and ‘Dilwale’. Film was released in over 800 screens overseas but managed 29 cr (4.5 million $) over weekend there, almost 50% of ‘Dilwale’.
