Bajirao Mastani continued its glorious run on Day 4 at the box office. The film was rock-solid on Monday, as there was hardly any drop at most centres that we tracked. In fact, some were performing better than Friday. The centre that registered the biggest fall, dropped only by 21%, which is excellent.
Dilwale, on the other hand, was steady. The percentage of drop from Friday to Monday is bigger than Bajirao Mastani, but that is only because Dilwale took a bigger start on Friday. The average drop for Dilwale is around 45-50% from Friday, which is normal for a weekday.
At single-screens, Dilwale is performing very well, while Bajirao Mastani has taken the lead at multiplexes.
There is a good chance that the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film could put up a total in the range of Rs 10 crore +/- on Monday.

The budget for the both movie is same so they need to collect same money to get hit status how much the good word of mouth does not matter MB it will not cross more than 130 cr so it will be flop and overseas it will digaster Dilwale will cross between 180-200 cr life time and overseas $30 million ALLTIME BLUCKCUSTER .
Why is everyone hell bent on comparing these two movies of absolutely opposite genres..both movies are doing well at BO..and Srk had said b4 that both movies will perform well..2 more open weeks and we can have a combined total of more than 350cr..
After the success of Baahubali & Bajirao Mastani now producer should produce film like this . I think Mohanjo Daro will be one of the best of Bollywood . I think Jodha Akbar was turning point of Bollywood film make on epic war . Go Bollywood go .
Bajirao nay Dilwale kay box office potential say ayyashi ki hai, muhabbat nahin.
DILWALE is performing good & better hold or less drop than all other masala films.
Only clash & less screens,shows & average WOM(all masala films always get) Is reason for low collection other wise it will be another 200cr collector in India.
On the other hand BM Is performing only in Multiplex & with such good WOM if BM collect 7-8 cr on Monday from 3050 screens then it will again be a 100-110cr collector with disappointment tag which is already holding by DILWALE despite better WOM than all other masala films in recent years.
Clash can change any films future other wise BM will be a 150cr+ & DILWALE will be a 200cr+ nett grosser alone.

Indicine…it seems from ur last few articles that u r promoting ‘bm’ but its not that great movie…its business is coming mainly from premium mutiplexes which will not not lead it to beat Dilwale,it has been overrated as second half is boring…whereas Dilwale’s collections are still great considering the problems it faced after releasing…protests,lesser screens,etc,many shows have been cancelled in certain places for weekdays also bcoz of the protests done by some ” Self Proclaimed Deshbhakts” but still it proves the Star power of Srk and word of mouth of this movie is also good,people are coming to watch but you are not mentioning these things.Infact till now nobody from film fraternity also has come ahead to support Srk.
