While Dilwale is dominating almost all overseas markets, there is one territory where Bajirao Mastani has sneaked ahead of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer.
In North America (USA / Canada), Bajirao Mastani has collected $4,300,678 (Rs 28.53 crore), while Dilwale has collected $3,962,523 (Rs 26.30 crore). The difference isn’t much, but beating the mighty Shah Rukh Khan in his strong holds like North America, UK, Gulf and Australia.. is in itself a massive achievement for any film.
Overall, there is simply no comparison as Dilwale has set records in several overseas territories. The film has now collected nearly Rs 115 crore in the overseas markets and could go on to be Shah Rukh’s highest overseas grosser of all time.
Bajirao Mastani has performed very well too, it has collected Rs 68 crore in 10 days, taking it to the 4th spot in the highest overseas grossers of 2015 – behind Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Dilwale and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
In India 126cr and overseas collection are 68cr thats a big acheivement for such a hero for SRK this movie not a dilwale this is Ra.one 2
For crying out loud will you SRK fans stop making such stupid excuses for the failure of the film to surpass BM in India and other places. Two years or more ago I told you fans that SRK’s career is on the slide but everyone abused me because of what I said. It was just a matter of time for him the writing was on the wall, when a person becomes inflated with their own ego and arrogance they have to fall off the pedestal at sometime. His slide came in India and now gradually the slide is coming in other places. On my recent visit to Canada and the USA one could see the reactions of the people there. I believe everyone world wide is beginning to see the real person in SRK we have all realized for him its about him only and money. Look at the expressions of love extended to Salman Khan on his birthday it superseded every celebration of birthdays recently because the people can identify with him as someone like themselves that in spite of all that has happened and no matter his success he still thinks of others first. Selfishness and pride does not sit well in God’s sight and the sooner we all realize this then and only then will things get better. One cannot feel sorry for SRK because he brought this on himself over the years, and his fans have helped contribute to his downfall, take your licks like a man and get over it and move on tomorrow is another day. Stop trying to compare SRK past films with others recognize that today he has been overtake by BM and do your comparison with that film, forgetting those things that are behind and press towards the mark of the future. God is the blessed controller of all things not you.
