While Dilwale is dominating almost all overseas markets, there is one territory where Bajirao Mastani has sneaked ahead of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer.
In North America (USA / Canada), Bajirao Mastani has collected $4,300,678 (Rs 28.53 crore), while Dilwale has collected $3,962,523 (Rs 26.30 crore). The difference isn’t much, but beating the mighty Shah Rukh Khan in his strong holds like North America, UK, Gulf and Australia.. is in itself a massive achievement for any film.
Overall, there is simply no comparison as Dilwale has set records in several overseas territories. The film has now collected nearly Rs 115 crore in the overseas markets and could go on to be Shah Rukh’s highest overseas grosser of all time.
Bajirao Mastani has performed very well too, it has collected Rs 68 crore in 10 days, taking it to the 4th spot in the highest overseas grossers of 2015 – behind Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Dilwale and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

All was in favour of dilwale, songs, star cast, blockbuster jodi, but script could not click with domestic audience, assume if songs were bad, there was only srk and rest are newcomers, and lead heroine was also newcomer but content clicked with audience. Im sure it would become atleast blockbuster. So, as aamir said, content is the real king
