Bahubali 2 has become the highest grossing film worldwide just 6 days after its theatrical release last weekend. The best performance of the film is coming in the Hindi markets, followed by the home states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The net collections in Nizam/Andhra region has crossed the 135 crore mark in just 6 days, with the film becoming the second highest Telugu grosser of all time – only behind the first Bahubali film which released in 2015.
The Hindi version has smashed all single-day records, beating the biggest of Hindi films featuring top superstars. It has crossed the 200 crore mark in 6 days and the all-India net collections of the Hindi version stands at around 225 crore, with the film likely to cross the 250 crore mark either by the end of its first week or on its 2nd Friday. It has already collected 90 crore more than the highest Hindi grosser of 2017, Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees. It has doubled the collections of films like Jolly LLB 2 and Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
Whether it’s the 100 crore, 150 crore, 200 crore or 250 crore – Bahubali 2 Hindi has been the fastest or joint fastest to each of the landmarks, making it by far the biggest money-spinner of all time. The Hindi version alone with sweep aside the Dhoom 3 (all versions) record on Saturday. Sultan, Bajrangi Bhaijaan could be surpassed during the second weekend itself – while the domestic records set by PK and Dangal will be in danger during the coming weekdays. (Note: On an all-India level, including collections from all versions, the net collections of Bahubali 2 has already surpassed Dangal).

Bahubali 2 has exceeded all expectations in terms of business . In terms of content I feel Bahubali was better than Bahubali 2 . Bahubali 2 is entertaining all the way with brilliant performances and superb action sequences in the 2nd half . During Dangal I thought this record will remain intact for a very long period of time but now Bahubali 2 is breaking records like bread and butter . I always knew Bahubali 2 will be the 1st 200 CR non holiday grosser in Hindi version and 2nd all over India after Robot but nobody imagined Bahubali 2 beating BB, PK and Dangal . I always thought for breaking records you need Eid, Diwali and Christmas but Bahubali 2 has proved me totally wrong . A film made on a big canvas even on a non holiday can smash all records hence proved . In 2006 Dhoom 2 was the last film which became the HGOTY on non holiday .
Bollywood also need to make movies which people will go and watch in a movie theater and not on laptops and mobiles. A bunch of people on this website call themselves fans and watch movies pirated movies. No tubelight,tzh will ever be able to beat this collections. The film tubelight is about 1962 war and according to the film salman khan may be would have born on 1940s. His character is slow learner from childhood. So my technical question is, On those years (1940s and 1960s) is really there was a word called tubelight. If not, then this movie is technically failed.
