Shashank Khaitan’s Badrinath Ki Dulhania has become only the fifth Dharma Productions’ film to cross the 100 crore mark. It’s the third Varun Dhawan film to cross the milestone – after ‘ABCD 2’ and the much bigger film ‘Dilwale’.
Alia Bhatt now has two 100 crore grossers to her name – ‘2 States’ and ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’.
The release of ‘Phillauri’ this week will have little or no impact on ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’. The film should collect around 7 crore in its 3rd weekend.

This has been a terrific year in terms of business with Kaabil, Raees, Jolly LLB 2 and BKD . April is looking much bigger than Feb and March with 2 biggies – Fast 8 and Baahubali 2 . Now Judwaa 2 will have a massive buzz as Varun has maintained his 100 % record and David Dhawan has always been a very successful director with few hiccups in the last few years . Alia Bhatt is also going through a purple patch as her movies are getting successful and her performances are always appreciated .

This thing called “High distributor price” has always affected SRK films verdicts.
1. Footfalls of DTPH and KA are almost same as that of Dhoom-3. Dhoom3 is ATBB, DTPH just SH/BB.
2.Footfalls of Koyla were more than Judwaa, Yes Boss. But just a flop/average.
3. K3g and 3 idiots had same almost footfalls. 3 idiots was ATBB, K3g not.
4. Mohabbatein footfalls>>Ghajini but still Mohabbatein was a superhit/BB
In tickets sold, SRK has never been behind Aamie. Even KKHH>PK. But he and his producer sell movies on so damn hiked price!!!!!!!
I mean his “semi-hit” is equal to Akki’s highest grosser.
