Akshay Kumar’s Baby will struggle to cross the 100 crore mark as the film has shown significant drops even at multiplexes on its 6th day at the box office.
Usually, most films that trend well, show minimal drops of 5-10% during weekdays. Baby has dropped by nearly 15-20% on Wednesday, which will not only result in a poor first week (considering 2 national holidays), but isn’t a positive sign for the crucial second weekend to follow. Most films that show good trends during the weekdays, also get more shows at multiplexes in the following week.
The Neeraj Pandey film has collected Rs 60.32 crore in 6 days and will finish Week 1 with net box office collections of around Rs 64 crore.

- Sunday – 15.6 cr (39% growth)

I don’t care about the collections as long as we(Bollywood) can still manage to make these type of films. I want to see a Bollywood Doomsday/Apocalypse movie so badly!

Collection is not every thing. A good film will remain good even if collection is low and collection is low because majority of people are not aware about it.
it proves critics rating cant do too much positive or negative on a movie collection specially wid a list actors.
Good film, very good film but its a one time watch- such films dont have that repeat value- films like RDB, Gadar, Lagaan had more going for it which Baby lacks…. Hope film gets to 100cr but looks tough now.
haha aaki dont promote his good movie but promote his idiotic movies so he got average success many times , i am his huge fan though he didnot know how to change with time in bollywood industry, always 4 movies, we fan enjoyed getting fun 4 times than others but except his fans others feel bored with 4 movies

Disappointed with the collections.Expected more as the film is superb.
Its a excuse of every akki fans that khans releases their films on festive releases,if akki release in festive he would equally or perform better.Baby shows all.
Akki is always disappointed trade whenever he has release in good release period.Baby not able to do anything great on two back to back holiday with 40 cr in 4 days (trade figure).Last year holiday also performed not so well in post IPL weekend.
In 2013 both ouatimd and boss were good releases though ouatimd back stabbed by srk,but boss couldn’t capatilised in 5 days weekend.
TMK in Christmas,Action replay and Blue in diwali etc are example how akki failed to capatilise the chances.
It feel sad when good films holiday and baby suffered but I think akki not having luck factor when he had good releases time.He capatilise them with Garam Masala in 2005, Welcome in 2007, RR in 2012.Though most of time he facing competition as welcome vs tzp,Golmaal 3 vs Action replay, Garam Masala vs Kyonki,Blue vs All the best etc.
But he had given two surprises with housfull 1 and 2 collected great in IPL season time.
I hope he bounce back with Brothers.I have no hope from Main Gabbar.

We Indians do not have sense of Movies. a faltu movie like HNY crosses 200 Crores and classic movie like Baby is struggling to cross 100 crores.
We should not blame akki. Movie is excellent. We have to blame the audience.
Baby is far better than those wannabe classics,but however at least Indians will not accept these kind of movies.also akki’s wrong statement against KING KHAN is the most probable reason for the failure o this film which starts struggle again in 60cr range ad per my prediction and some of his idiotic fans criticized me at that time.now it seems to cross 70cr

my take on Akshay Kumar….d best recovery bound superstar after Amitji. sad baby may struggle to attain 100crores buh I really wish it could and there’s still little ray of light @ d end of d tunnel just hope audience can flash more torch lights on weekends.
Baby is akshays’s first worst movie of this year i dont konw why critics are appreciating the film despite having nonsense scripting unusual plots ,and disturbing 2:30 hrs start to end chasing scenes which makes us bored in the theater. its better to watch holiday instead of ghatiya baby.
