Baaghi has done well on Day 2 at the box office. The film is set to show a drop of around 10% on Saturday, which is acceptable and normal for a film that opened strongly at mass centres on Friday.
Single-screen business, which was running at high levels of occupancy on Friday, was down by around 20% on Saturday. But multiplex business has picked up, even though occupancy and collections were lower than some of the more successful films of the year.
Baaghi has collected around 22.5 crore in 2 days at the domestic box office. The first weekend business will be around the 35 crore mark, which is fantastic for a film starring Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead. The collections on both days are well above trade expectations, which hasn’t been the case for majority of film releases in 2016.
The film is a clean-hit at around the 55 crore mark. If it holds well on Monday, it has a good chance of challenging the lifetime total of films like Kapoor & Sons and Neerja. There is even a chance of surpassing FAN if the hold over the weekdays is strong.
The next major release is Azhar on May 13, so Baaghi has two open weeks at the box office.

Dont try to be oversmart. Yes I said Tiger has beaten 25 year old Ajay. U r just under the halucination that Ajay is safe amidst all this because no one is mentioning him. Remember one thing, today even Sunny Deol and Bobby deol have fans but no neutral viewer watches their films. A stars range depends not only on not only on how many fans he has but also on how many illogical haters he has (like mr.floppy) who unneccarily bash him. And in that term, salman, sharukh, akshay anf hrithik are the top stars.
How many ppl hate an actor is an evidence of how many ppl are noticing him and the current set of comments on indicine are an evidence to the fact that how less ppl care about Ajay Devgn.

And before start giving lame excuses, go and check the filmography of Ajay and Akshay. Akshay has more superhits, hits anf BB’s and less flops compared to Ajay.

Amir and Ajay have lesser haters primarily because they are reserved persons in nature and u wont see much news of them in the media so obviously there are lesser discussions on them in social media and so lesser haters. Both have decent personalities and keep away from media and controversies.
Akshay is a big star no doubt but I dont consider Ajay any lesser star than him. Not many stars would have dared to clash with combo of SRK and YC at Diwali and come out with a tie. We saw what CE did with OUATIMA in its 2nd week clash. Most of the times Ajay has done commercial movies he has delivered a hit just like Akshay so nothing much to choose between them at least for me. As an actor Ajay is obviously more versatile. And please dont compare him to some one like Bobby deol and say that neutral audience doesnt watch his movies.

The opening of recent film of Tiger is behind 9 films of Akshay and just 1 film of Ajay. So the most logical comparison would be Tiger and Ajay, not Tiger and Akshay. I can speak for myself only and I have praised Akki a number of times even though some Akkians spread alot of negativity against SRK esp at the time of Fan release.
So naturally u will now see at least some SRK fans doing that as the release of HF3 comes nearer. Some Akkians had chanted happily that Mowgli (a kid) beat SRK so now u will also see some SRK fans chanting Mowgli and Tiger beat Akshay. You may not have said it but ur fellow akkians did. What goes around comes around.
Plus Salman fans are usually thrashing akkians here. So with now some SRKians joining them that could be the reason u see more people ‘barking’ against Akki recently and not Ajay.

Actually u guys make sense. But Indicine is very confusing u see, we really don’t know who is whom. But my sincere apologies IF u guys were never bashed Akshay that way and in fact defended him at times. And just like I said before, I am not any Ajay hater either.

Ajay fans mostly u will see bond well with Salman fans. And Akshay fans once were mostly tagged with SRKians but I think that partnership has weaken now and fights between them ??
Once it looked like SRKians + Akkians versus Salman and Ajay fans but now it looks changed.
Have seen Hrithik fans mostly fighting with Akki fans. Dont know yet who Hrithik fans get along well most.
So different combinations going around here. Gets complex at times but alot of fun it is. Thats y ppl keep coming back here at Indicine.

Chinmay I remember but didnt know he was a hrithik fan infact thought initially he was a SRK fan. But such people are insignificant for me so never followed him really.
These star bashing sessions are honestly not my cup of tea. So will be hopefully more of a silent spectator with salman fans taking their revenge from hrithik fans.
