The struggle for Emraan Hashmi films continues, as Azhar was poor on Day 2 at the box office. The film has collected Rs 7 crore on Day 2, which is way below par for a film that was expected to grow on word-of-mouth publicity.
In today’s times when multiplex business is crucial for almost every film, Azhar took a slow start on Friday, but it’s the Saturday business that has come as a big disappointment because the occupancy at multiplexes was around 10% higher than Friday.
Mass centres, where the film opened fairly well on Friday, were down on Saturday. This trend usually means curtains for a film on Day 2 itself, but with costs on the lower side (Azhar needs 45-47 crore for recovery) there is a chance if the film shows big growth on Sunday and holds well on Monday.
Our IndicineLBO (lifetime collection) prediction for the film is Rs 35 crore.

Mind you the list above are meant for clean hits only not semi hit and it has no room for special appearance. Salman Prdp Bb Srk Dilwale Akki Airlift due to the date October 2015 is not included. If included Salman clearly tops the chart with 1Atbb and 1bb. My Hrithik as you can see is only having 20 movies to his name. So pardoned but very promising. To conclude with Akshay may have a slight upper hand in single screens in few rural areas but he is nowhere close to Hrithik in multiplexes, South India reach and overseas. The facts and figures are right in front of you mate. So you can keep on idolizing your star to whatever extend you want, but that doesn’t mean you have a license to bash other stars and if you do so the outcome will be very painful for you just like what I did now….cheers!
