Attacks of 26/11: Banned in UAE, cleared in Bahrain and Oman

The Attacks of 26/11Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘The Attacks of 26/11’, has been banned from theatrical screening in UAE by the Dubai censor board. However, the Bahrain and Oman governments have cleared the film.

A source close to the film based on the Mumbai attacks in 2008 says “It is a well known fact that the 10 terrorists from the terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba from Pakistan had attacked Mumbai, and that is something that the Dubai censors have been shying away from showing”

The 2008 attacks on Mumbai, which left 164 people dead and 308 injured, took place on the night of 26th November .

In the film, Nana Patekar plays a joint commissioner of police, while Sanjeev Jaiswal will be seen as terrorist Ajmal Amir Kasab.

The Attacks of 26/11 releases in theatres worldwide tomorrow.

  • Will it release in Pak?
Bollywood shouldnt release any films in these countries.
There will be nothing objectionable in this film, just a real incident and still they are banning the film.

  • Real bad luck for India too as I feel all RGV films should be banned here too.
The guys nothing more than a glorified documentary maker at best charging audiences ridiculous amounts of monies to watch his poorly executed and edited crap.

  • @radha and @dinesh viper
You guys are welcomed to watch 26/11 if you want but most people prefer masala films any day of the week. I pay money to be entertained, I do not like paying money to be depressed or like the idea of watching another RGV crap/ documentary. Hes a glorified documentary maker at best and believe you can watch better documentaries on Discovery channel for a fraction of the cost.

  • terrifick movie…1st go and watch…i am from mumbai…i know what has happened to our city on that day….excellent work by rgv after so long time….
