2014 was a good year for Arjun Kapoor. The actor was involved in a commercial blockbuster, 2 States, which grossed over a 100 crores and Finding Fanny, which received critical acclaim.
Now, the actor has reportedly signed R Balki’s next film. Sources say, the duo have already met and finalised the project about a month ago.
It has also been reported that this time the director will be looking for an experienced and well-known actress to cast opposite Arjun.
‘Shamitabh’ didn’t perform well at the box office, so the director of films like ‘Cheeni Kum’ and ‘Paa’ would look to better his record with his next one.
After the failure of ‘Tevar’, Arjun Kapoor would look turn things around under Balki’s direction. An official announcement is expected to be made soon.

Good choice. Jealous Ajinkya will definitely spout some rubbish comment on this article. Expressionless Akkis career has going down and down. New actors like Arjun, ranveer and varun are challenging his place. Ranbir has already beaten Akki long back.
Ranbir could give more than 110 crore easily with offbeat Barfi while Argo copy Baby couldnt cross 95 crore. Big shame.

R Balki is a brilliant director . Cheeni Kum was an entertaining movie . Paa was a brilliant movie showing a beautiful relationship between a Father and a Son . Amitabh Bachchan gave one of the Best Performance of his illustrious career . Shamitabh was a pretty average movie . It did not liked the ending of the movie . Big B and Dhanush gave very good performances . I heard that this will be a Comedy movie . Balki’s comedy is quite different as shown in CK, Paa and Shamitabh . It will be the first time Balki will not be working with Amitabh Bachchan . Their Jodi is solid and unique . I hope Arjun and Balki can make a good movie together . Arjun needs to do a good movie after Tevar . Shamitabh was a Disaster so Balki also has to make a strong comeback . i somehow guess this guy is deliberately trying to bring down the new actors with his overzealous comments that irritate people and they start hating him.
He is a fan of a certain senior star, but he is deliberately trying to show that he is the supporter of youngistaan and posting way to silly comments that make others hate the new actors.
