A simple tweet from Amitabh Bachchan that read “ZNMD is a triumph of spirit and male bonding… and Farhan and Abhay are just so impressive… natural, composed and effortless” resulted in an absolute furore on social networking website Twitter.
Seconds after the tweet, Hrithik fans started bashing the legendary actor. One of the harshest tweets read “Y u ignoring Hrithik? Is it cuz Karan’s Agneepath went 2 him n not 2 ur good 4 nothing son Abhishek? Hrithik rocked in ZNMD” to which Bachchan replied “I messaged him (Hrithik) personally and he acknowledged too .. not all goes on twitter ..”
Even Javed Akhtar, who has credited for the lyrics and poems in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, said “@SrBachchan, Great that you liked Abhay & Farhan but I am sure that Hritik’s omission was just a slip. Who can deny that he was outstanding”
Bachchan replied saying “HR (Hrithik Roshan) ko personally message kiya tha Javed sahab .. HR, Honey (Irani), aur Zoya (Akhtar) ko .. Hrithik ka jawab aaya .. Honey aur Zoya ka nahin”
After several angry tweets from Hrithik fans, the actor himself had to tweet to calm his fans down “Shocked to see some lovable souls trying to show love by misunderstanding n disrespecting another. Whatever the situation, we need to go towards peace! Not war. Received this last nite right after d show from amit uncle – Hrithik !!Well done!!Saw ZNMD You looked godly and were so composed and natural.. Love.”
Later Bachchan too posted Hrithik’s response to his SMS “THANK YOU amit uncle !! Was my toughest role … but learning !! Thank u so so much !!! Love and respect always !!! – HRITHIK”
To Bachchan’s credit he did credit the actor on his blog “Farhan and Abhay Deol were a delight to watch and of course Hritik moved like a dream .. ”
Anyway, we guess all’s well that ends well.
To all the morons: Learn Hrithik’s superiority with Google search, why always babbling into your insecured words?? Kids, compare the achievement by Hrithik over the last decades with all the Khans and Amitab. Find out in Google who won the most best actor awards in the last decade. None of your fucking personal opinion means anything to anybody. Your grand pa Amitab is so good actor that he gets offer like bhootNath and Buddha Hoga Tera Bap! he is so great that he is taunting Karan Johar to make a squeal of Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum. But If u want to go by Filmfare awards then SRK beats everyone else he has 4 best actor award this decade and4 last deacde total 8 in all his career+ 2 critics awards+1 villian award+best debutant=a record :)
but who gives a shit about them!! Most of the times the ones who deserve are sitting at home while others are happy getting shitty fartful Filmfarce/Filmfaart awards
Actually when did your idol Hrithik deserve a Best Actor award??
Yeah for KNPH he deserved best debutant but certainly not best actor he was OK, Anil Kapoor deserved it for his performance in Pukar.
And let us not talk about KMG!!! that was the biggest chock ever, Salman Khan was miles ahead in Tere Naam, yeah it was his only good performance but he was exellent and flawless in his role. Hrithik overacted big time there! and the film was a so silly only kids enjoyed it.
Now coming to the BIGGER chock: The Best actor award for modeling in Dhoom 2!! seriously after that award i lost total faith in awards and didn’t even bother to watch them after!! The winner was without a single doubt Aamir Khan for RDB! It was a joke by giving an award for a non-performance like that!
In Jodhaa Akbar he was decent…but still i don’t think it was the best performance of the year…actually i liked Naseer Din Shah in A wednesday but since it’s popular award he didn’t win, they can’t give it to Aamir and they can’t give it to SRK every year so give it to Hrithik!
So see he won but did he actually deserve!! ha no sane person would even bother to give 4 aan to such fartful awards(Papa Roshan of course an exeption)…
Awards are not the right medium to judge actors and performances, coz they are just a small recognization of talent.
Filmfaarce knows if u can’t give it to SRK give it to Hrithik evrybody is happy, and Aamir won Best actor award for Lagaan last time and deserved , he took a 4 year break and did minimum number of films, also he won the critics award for RDB again he deserved…along with other wonderful performances in the 90’s like Rangeela/AHAT/Sarfarosh/Ghulam/JJWS…etc which were award worthy performances.
So yeah i said it before HRITHIK IS GOD!!!! no one is even close to him, even Big.B cannot beat him in acting he is our god!!
