The pace at which Akshay Kumar works is incredible. The actor has already begun to shoot for hid 3rd release of 2016, Rustom, which is scheduled to clash against Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro during the Independence Day weekend.
The first look poster of Rustom has also been released and Akshay is seen wearing the Navy uniform. After Airlift, it’s going to be yet another film that is based on a real-life story and also a film that could challenge a biggie like ‘Mohenjo Daro’.
Directed by debutant Tinu Suresh Desai, Rustom is a film based in the 1950s “The film is set in the late 1950s and is a pure work of fiction. Rustom is inspired from certain real life incidents that happened in the past and will be shot in India as well as in Britain”
“Decorated officer. Devoted family man. Defending his honour. His name? Rustom. Know his story on August 12.” Akshay tweeted.

He is the most underrated actor of bollywood..he can act anything with ease. he’s the best.
Most of his solo releases struggle to go past 80cr mark. Rustam is clashing with another movie. Hence 50cr looks impossible task for it.
rustom will not open big like mohanjodaro, however, in the long run it will emerge a winner if content is good, it is not 200 cr film at the max it will collect 130 cr. Since last 3-4 years akshay’s choice of films is outstanding: special 26, omg, holiday, baby, gabbar, airlift. Each of the mentioned film is masterpiece and will attain cult status. Also with each film akshay is coming back to his late 2000 days when his movies took record openings and with pathetic choice of films like CCTC, Tees mar khan, joker, thank you he lost his way, akshay is regaining his lost ground with each of his new release and mark my words housefull3 will take earth shattering opening
