Akshay Kumar whose forthcoming comedy film ‘Entertainment’ is set for release this Friday, wants to do negative roles. The actor who played a grey character in ‘Once Upon A Mumbai Dobaraa’ says he enjoys doing negative roles more than playing a conventional hero on-screen.
“I think the villain always enjoys so much in major part of the film’s duration. He fixes up the heroine, runs around her. The hero is always busy protecting and working for his sister and mother,” Akshay said.
“Only in the last five minutes of the film he gets beaten. I want to play villain’s role more often,” the Khiladi star said.
Akshay also said that he loves to portray different types of characters and is grateful to his profession which allows him to play every kind of role.
“I enjoy doing different characters. Where in the world will you get a profession like this where you can play so many characters – you can romance so many beautiful girls, you can play so many sports … But still get paid,” he said.
The slapstick comedy ‘Entertainment’ is directed by debutant duo Sajid-Farhad. The film also stars Tamannah Bhatia, Johnny Lever, Mithun Chakraborty, Krushna Abhishek, Prakash Raj and Sonu Sood.

because whoever he has to be, has to brilliant in action, extraordinarily brilliant, i say, to beat him out in somewhat realistic movie. other thing, being take salman’s example: 2 times he acted with akshay, one in jaaneman and second in mujhse shaadi karoge. what happened later?? in both movies akki got nominated for best supporting actor and won the award for mujhse shaadi karoge.
knowing this history, how many lead actors of today’s generation, will suggest akki’s name for villain??

u so called classy people thinks srk can act use maar khana kahte hain. srk is copycat of dilip kumar, amitabh he cant deliver a performence what Salman did in tere naam. srk is famous just becuz his muzra in overseas and everybody knws he is famous for cutting role of his co actors. such insecure actor. darr, kal ho naa ho r proof of my comment. Salman is unique actor but unfamous as actor becuz of controvercies and bad relationship with media otbetwise srk is not equal to hair of Salman in acting u can search in old magzins.. @ mithaiwale meethe.
