Filmmaker Siddharth Anand who has just wrapped up the final shooting schedule of Bang Bang starring Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif, has roped in Akshay Kumar for his next film.
Anand who has previously directed Saif Ali Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, felt Akshay is more suited for the role than Hrithik.
The film will be a heavy-duty action thriller and Akshay will also co-produce it. This is the first time Anand and Akshay are collaborating for a film.
According to a source, Siddharth met Akshay few days ago for a narration and the actor immediately gave his node for the film.
Confirming the news, a source close to the development reveale, “It’s a heavy-duty action thriller set across the globe. The idea was with him, even before Bang Bang went on floors. He has a great working relationship with Hrithik but felt this role is more suitable for Akshay.”
The lead actress for the film has not been finalised yet. The film will go on floors early next year.

but there r also so many roles in which hrithik is better than akshay like Krrish,dhoom2,jodha akber.etc

Akshay Kumar is much bigger superstar than hritik, if you are talking about stylish action watch Akshay sir’s movies in1990s and also I suggest you to watch holiday. Akshay sir has done that kind of action of which hritik can’t even think about, I feel Akshay Kumar is the best superstar in action ever, and akki sir would have been suited much better than hritik in bang bang as looking towards tom cruise in film knight and day as bang bang is remake of it.
Akki sir is much much more better than hritik everyone knows that please don’t compare a star like hritik roshan with a such a great superstar like akshay kumar. Akshay sir is also a great actor for this watch special shabbis, the most good looking and fittest hero of bollywood.
Also Akshay sir is 9 years senior star than hritik akshay sir has done 125 films and hritik only 27 so you could understand the difference between 125 films and 27 films, so understood how great is akshay sir than hritik
