Akshay Kumar has booked the release dates of his upcoming films and most of his films will release during the next best weekends after Christmas, Eid and Diwali.
He has one film, Shankar’s Robot 2.0, which is tentatively scheduled to arrive during the Diwali weekend in 2017.
FIVE, directed by Omung Kumar, has also been announced well in advance for the Republic Day weekend in 2018. The film is said to have Akshay playing 5 difference roles.
Toilet – Ek Prem Katha is expected to go on floors later this year. The film doesn’t yet have a release date.
The superstar has just completed a terrific year with three back-to-back 100 crore grossers in Airlift (2nd highest grosser so far), Housefull 3 (4th highest grosser) and Rustom (3rd highest grosser).

Am no Akki fan but has admired his work since Mohra days, I always find him trying something new and has to be the most improved actor since 2000.
Akki’s method is simple he is not running after 300cr movie but doing 4 movies in a year with a different target audience.
Example:
Baby, Airlift and Rustom (Multiplex)
Gabbar, Housefull (mainly SS)
This method has helped him building a solid footing in an industry dominated by Khan.
Akki is a dependable superstar.
