Bollywood superstars Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan have taken Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh by storm as the actors are literally getting mobbed wherever they go!
Akshay is shooting for his upcoming film ‘Airlift’, while Hrithik is filming his much-awaited magnum opus ‘Mohenjo Daro’ .
While media stories mostly revolve around the super-stardom of the Top 3 Khans in the industry, the popularity of stars like Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn, especially with the masses of India, doesn’t quite get the attention that it deserves.
While Hrithik is causing a stampede wherever he goes in Jabalpur, Akshay too has hordes of people waiting to catch a glimpse of him in Rajasthan. Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn, who is set to begin shooting for ‘Shivaay’, is one of the biggest crowd-pullers in Bihar, where even political parties were lining up to get him on their side.

Am a seasonal commentator here. I read this article strictly because of Hritik Roshan and I reside in Bhopal too bad I can’t see him I am in school an a great fan of his. About popularity there is no doubt Hritik popularity is just after Shah rukh but not that behind. As soon as top 5 heroes bid farewell to Bollywood the gap between Hritik and his next probably by then a Varun Ranveer Ranbir Shahid the gap will be so so so wide. That’s the advantage Hritik will have next 4-5 years,he is the next Aamir Khan. Then deep sympathy for those purposely underrating Ajay. Just a word ‘sorry’. Am not in the opposition to say He or Akkish have more fan base but to be honest I take them to be very equal with similar career like and I think the same time they started may be Ajay is senior with some months. About their movies let me be straight Ajay is a complete actor I don’t think anyone will doubt that. Thank you. No fan war please please.
In MP after khans it’s ajay devgan next. In MP circuit alone his movies does 25+ crores . Same with Nizam. In Mumbai the same only this time it’s 55 crs +. That’s just behind the Khan trios. In Rajasthan Bihar Punjab W.Bengal Akshay and Ajay movies are so identical it’s differences is just in lakhs . Above 24 crs including Delhi/Up districts too. This shows that this guy is no way behind any of them in fan base. The khans esp Aamir and Salman movies UN Mumbai alone grosses almost 100 crs they are legends.

Indicine I must say this is a very nice and interesting article. Not because of the fan war although I won’t call it a war against the verdict has been just. We can all see who among Akshay and Ajay is more recognized as and respected. Am a Hritik fan as you know for me Hritik has a slight marginal advantage but IMO I have always compared Ajay n Akki career and personality to that of sanjay dutt and sunny deol. Both are very similar, come from same era both coincidentally begins with same alphabet like sunny n sanjay.Both started as action hero etc. Akshay being Sanjay Dutt the flamboyant playboy ,loved and very popular. esp in off screen lifestyle n media guy. Honesty Akshay played an excellent part in the movie but end of the day Ajay got even more praises than Shri Amitji. Mind you he was never the type of hero that met directors to prolong their roles in case of ..you know who. Funny enough Ajay did not do much of the talking in khakee but as we all know that’s what is distinct from him,his body expression is his asset. Finally they did insaan. That’s one of Akki sir most underrated acting. He was fantastic. Again if you see the south remake whom they copied from it was Prakash raj that played Akshay role not the leading actor. again. Indicine made a very bold statement mentioning Hritik Akshay Ajay fan base are underrated , they are slightly behind the khans. Indicine did not say Akki and Hritik only,even though as a hritik fan I would love to see Hritik higher but I have to respect both Ajay n Akki for acting way before Hritik.
