Aliaune Badara Akon Thiam, popularly known around the world as Akon, has been signed on to lend his voice to SRK’s Ra One.
According to trustworthy sources, both Shahrukh Khan and director Anubhav Sinha wanted an international singer for their ambitious superhero film and were keen on signing up Akon. During one of SRK’s recent trips to the US, the actor met Akon, discussed music and the two decided to work together.
The music of Ra one will be composed by Vishal – Shekhar. The shooting of the movie is expected to begin next month (March).
Kareena Kapoor, fresh from the super-success of 3 Idiots, has been signed on to play the female lead.

When will the movie release dosent seem like it will release during christmas because Tees mera khan and sunny, bobby, and dharmji movie is also coming out on christmas so can we see a three big movie clash? I think likely.

sparsh dont use the same old srk fans tactics to made this film just out of the world. it is a film which is directed by one of the bad directors who have given films like cash . a good film may not earn at box office but the film he made cash was just whack.
very doubtful about the film after tons of publicity if mnik reaches only upto 65-70cr and that too on high price of multiplex tickets this might be another low for srk.
though entertaiment value might be more than that of mnik as its action film but the reason it might not do well is that it contains superhero kind of action and not a raw one.
krishh do well but again no of people who watched that gutter film was very low mainly runs on multiplex .
