The most anticipated film of the first month of 2016, Akshay Kumar’s Airlift, releases in theatres in two weeks from now. Sources say, the film is extremely close to Akshay’s heart and he wants as many people as possible to watch it when it releases during the Republic Day weekend.
The theatrical trailer, which was released a couple of days ago, has received around 2.3 million views on Youtube. The response has been excellent, what with the trailer receiving 22,385 likes against 536 dislikes.
Talking about the film, Akshay said “The film is based on a true event and we are proud to tell this story to everyone. The incident has been recorded in Guinness book of world records stating that the biggest evacuation has been done by Indians”
“I was very happy to do this film when it came to me. This incident was hidden by the government because of a political reason connected to US and we are proud to reveal it to the world now”

akshay kumar, ajay devgan, govinda, srk, salman, aamir, anil, sanjay dutt, sunny deol, mithun, Jackie, saif, hrithik, 90s actors are so original, every actors sounded different, acted different, had different style and mannerism, there was something special and unique about these actors, they had this unique screen presence, nowadays actors you can’t differentiate who’s who, they sound the same and bore me. ranvir singh is ok but nothing special or unique, varun dhawan doesn’t come across as a hero to me, neither romantic or action hero, he’s more like a hero’s sidekick friend.

airlift will be huge hit for akki and for rustom i personally think it should be postponed to sep 30 so that it can get a huge benefit due to gandhi jayanti which would be on sunday so that it can also be emerged as hit-superhit….

stardom and superstardom wise akshay can’t be compared to salman, I have come to accept that salman has more fan following than akki, this was mainly down to his MPK fame and fan stayed with him since, but interms of versatility than akki is heads and shoulders above salman, salman can be good actor sometimes but many a time his serious acting turn into comedy. He doesn’t have the personality in him to do realistic films, akshay has that personality. so stardom salman tops akki and akki tops in versatility.
does complete package involve hero who can actually has fighting skills, or is just dance skills that is looked at?
I think akshay is doing all kind of films .. different films . People use to blame him for doing meaningless films . I think now they should Thier mouths and blame shahrukh for doing most bakwas films in last few years .
