A record-breaking opening, huge 4 day weekend and steady collections during weekdays, has ensured that several records have tumbled with the release of Hrithik Roshan’s Agneepath.
As the film continues it’s good run at the box-office, we have compiled a list of 10 records that now belong to the film and it’s stars.
- Biggest opening day ever – smashed the 6 month record of Bodyguard by a few lakhs.
- Went past the lifetime collections of Hrithik Roshan’s previous biggest grosser Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara in 9 days.
- Agneepath is the third biggest weekend grosser after Bodyguard and Ra One.
- Is the 4th quickest film to cross 100 crores after Bodyguard (7 days), 3 Idiots (9 days), Dabangg (10 days). Agneepath is tied with Ra One (both 11 days) at the 4th spot.
- 3rd biggest Week 1 grosser after Bodyguard (110 crores in 9 days) and Ra One (98 crores in 9 days) – Agneepath did 86.25 crores in 8 days!
- Without major crashes, the film should beat Ghajini (115 crores) and take the 5th spot for the highest grosser ever in India. Has a slight chance of going past Salman Khan’s Ready too. If it does, it’ll take the 4th spot after 3 Idiots, Bodyguard and Dabangg.
- Hrithik Roshan is the 5th actor to join the 100 crore club after Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgan and SRK
- Karan Malhotra is the second director to deliver a 100 crore film on debut, after Abhinav Kashyap (Dabangg).
- Agneepath is also the first Dharma Productions’ film to cross 100 crores in India.
- Priyanka Chopra now has two 100 crore films in 2 months – Don 2 and Agneepath.

And mr.hrithik s0chta hai k 2 years bad ek film karu ga to aamir jitna popular h0 jau ga.. He sh0uld do more films..he’s not an that kinda populor actor who can justify his position by doing one film in a year or two like Aamir.

Salman’s popularity has increased tremendously post wanted..although his films like Tere Naam etc were far better than ready and bodyguard but tere naam is not as quarter successfull as ready and bodyguard

This record is really remarkable because it’s remake of non-other than a very cult movie ‘Agneepath’.This is the first remake movie that are recieving very excellent response from Both Critics as well as public.The other point is that thae perfomance of all the stars is beyond excellency Especially Hrithik,Sanay and Rishi.For your kind information,A very well-known movie’Don series that is a remake of another fine movie Don but that movie didn’t get good response from critics as well as public.I would like to say that only Hrthik can do justice to the iconic role’Vijay dinanath’.So i salute Hrithik.If khans did do this film then it would definitely flop or big joke.

A lot of people are saying that Sanju and Rishi did better job than Hrithik but i would like to say that they don’t understand acting.In agneepath,their get up if good not his acting.I must say that why Rishi are getting well response because he has never done this type of act before Ageepath.He did only dancind with heroine,Dhapli, Bansuri bajana in good song and out of suddenly people has seen him in Simple Negative role andf people are taking his act very excellent!!! and Same to Sanjay dutt.Only Hrithik has done excellent job Because he has been given a iconic role but not with great get-up.

this article is about hritik but still some hritik fans thrashing salman here. let me tell you guys another thing that after the openong day there were many hritik fans douting salman star power. lets compare agneepath and bodyguard. bodyguard has only salman while agneepath has hritik, om puri, rishi kapoor and the highlight of the movie sanju baba combined could even reach bodyguard lifetime. bodyguard run was hinder by mere brother ki dulhan(which went to become hit) after 2nd week while agneepath have two full weeks. bodyguard was released with lesser prints compared to agneepath. hr fans should forget about dabangg as well now about ready. compare opening of ready and agneepath there is a 8 or 9 crore difference in opening day but still the chances are that it not even going to beat ghajini so i believe ready is out of the question and both ready and ghajini were friday release and were non-festive release. aamir and salman alone were the stars in their movie where as this one has sanju, hritik, rishi kapoor, and om puru and long weekend release but still they cant match the star power of aamir ans salman who single handedly make their movie all time blockbusters. and those of you who are sying hritik deserve natinal award or all other best actor awards you are just making fun of yourself because the best performance was sanju’s and rishi kapoor’s and thats why saju throw agneepath success party
