Agent Vinod Box office Opening

Agent Vinod has opened to a good response at the box office on Friday. As expected, the collections are good at multiplexes, but lower at smaller centers.

Friday morning, the Saif Ali Khan – Kareena Kapoor starrer, opened to 40% collections but the occupancy was much better for the late afternoon and evening shows. The film benefited from the Ugadi / Gudi Padwa holiday in certain parts of the country.

Recovery will not be easy, as the film’s box-office prospects almost entirely depends on how well it performs at the urban multiplexes. Business has to pick up over the weekend and sustain well over the weekdays, if Agent Vinod has to recover it’s high costs. The reports are mixed, but that’s usually the case with most big releases.
