Bollywood fans all over the world are in for a treat this year end, as all the veteran superstars Aamir Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgan and Akshay Kumar have one release each! What’s more , all their films arrive in a span of two months – November and December. Only Hrithik Roshan is missing out on the party!
It all starts with a bang in time for Diwali with three films – SRK’s London Ishq (title unconfirmed), Ajay Devgan’s Son of Sardar and Akshay Kumar’s Khiladi 786, all set to clash in the same week. While it’s not a great idea to compete with SRK films (he has probably never come second), Ajay and Akshay have decided to take up the challenge. The result will obvious, all three films will get affected. The shows at multiplexes will be divided and hence, the collections will be lower for every film. Unless, all three of them are extremely confident of their films, the clash should be averted.
Next up, Aamir Khan after 3 long years with Talaash. It’s undecided when the film will eventually release – it’ll be either November 30th or December 6th. Irrespective of when it arrives, an Aamir Khan film is an event. If we had a chance to watch just one film in these two months, we’d pick Talaash without giving it a second thought!
And finally Salman Khan the numero uno superstar in India, who has been on an absolute dream run for the last couple of years, arrives with Dabangg 2 for Christmas. This film is likely to plunder all previous Indian box-office records. All eyes on 3 Idiots’ 202 crore, a record that many films have tried but none have come close. Will Dabangg 2 be the film?

I read somewhere..and I think this might be one fact too..
That Kahaani is applauded as best Thriller ever made in India..and if Talaash releases in June..which if of same genre…it would land in comparisons..
so releasing in November..might..revert comparisons..as comparison can get hefty on film
Aashkaran, Aamir is genuinely busy with his TV show and he likes working at his own pace. If Talaash is similar to Kahaani, we will know when it releases. They can’t change it now, the shooting is complete :)
@Don- K3G was just Blockbuster bcoz of high budget and Devdas was just hit.
@Rohit, its difficult to make a high budget film blockbaster as it needs the double return of money. So K3G is a blockbaster in spite of high budget because of the performence of srk, his fans support and good direction.

What’s the vierdicts of Ra.One, Desi Boyz and Rockstar indicine. As some sites show all of them hits while other shows all of them as flops.

@Indicine-But as its promo was not that hit so Aamir may want some changes in the script so he postponed Talaash to make changes.
Rohit, Talaash teaser is intriguing but i am not satisfied tha Aamir has postponed his film by 5 months.
RA.one lost money to some distributors and also main distrbutor EROS some how made profit, you cant call it a HIT, it’s above average at best.
And as regagarding Rockstar some territories have lost their money, Rockstar is either average or above average.
Aamir Khan is a trend setter..he used to made on film on time, mow evrey mainstream actor is doing that…he made Andaz Apna Apnd and Dil Chahta Hai..both films have found cult status..action masala films were reintroduced to bollywood with GHAJINI. Wanted, Dabangg, Singham followed that trend.His films are event.
And indicine do you think that Bodyguard and Ready deserved the success that they have caught…both the film has done more buisisiness than Don2 which was good film than these films.Don2 must have done 130-140cr busisiness.
The Year 2011 has been strictly average cinematic content wis.
Don 2 is an excellent movie. Though it is only hit in india, it attained blockbaster overseas.
SRK is doing films that are only compared to hollywood. The mentality of common people of india is not high enough to realize srk movies. They only want masala remaking.
This is why SRK movies do good business in multiplexes and overseas but lack single screens.

If you do not know , SRK was become star in his first movie DEEWANA , winning best male debut in filmfare and since then he is growing untill he reached what he is to day.
SRK has many hits , super hits , bb and atbb which Yash chopra didn’t direct nor produce like BAAZIGAR , KKHH , K3G , KAL HO NAHO , DEVDAS , MAIN HO NAA , OSO………… the list is end less.
Also if YRF’s or any other home production house give you good movie , you will not turn down.
So don’t be jealous to SRK if YRF’s give most of their films to king khan instead of aamir and salman.

I don understand these so called SRK fans think that SRK make intelligent movies which is absolutely wrong, take example of movies like Ra-one which was pathetic with no cinematic value in it specially his introductory scene was brain drainer. Also there are other films like Billu, Main hoo naa, Om Shanti Om are sheer piece of Craps.
I think they are not ready to accept that their romantic hero looks 60 year old man with wrinkles and patches on their fav star’s face.
