Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, who felicitated GQ’s 50 Most Influential Young Indians at an event here last week, says his advice to youngsters is that they must “keep going even when your chips are down”.
“One advice that I would want to share with these young achievers is that when you are facing failure, one tends to feel like compromising but never do that. Keep going even when your chips are down” Aamir said in a statement.
Aamir was recently in the capital to launch GQ’s latest special edition. Those featured in the list come from a diverse range of backgrounds and professions — from politics to entertainment.
Aamir, who has himself been an achiever as an actor, producer and director, personally met and felicitated each of the achievers this year at the gala event which took place on July 2.
Those to have featured on the list are names like Virat Kohli, Ranveer Singh, Ritesh Agrawal, Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Prabhat Choudhary, Navroze Godrej, Umang Bedi, Arijit Bose, Krishna Ram Bhupal and Aditya Ghosh amongst others.

Even being a superstar, he has always strived for excellence in his profession.
He could’ve easily done 2 films a year and minted money like other actors do, but no, he does not wish to dissapoint his audience. He wants that audience who pays to watch him, get their moneys worth and take back home something from the film.

Absolutely true . It is difficult to swim when the tides are high but this gives you an opportunity to reach the shore . Aamir started with a bang in 1988 with QSQT and then he made some poor choices and than he changed his working style and the result is for everyone to see . People may call him Selfish, Hypocrite or Jealous but nobody can deny the fact he has worked really hard in the last 28 years and he has made some amazing choices . Aamir’s success proves – ‘Choices Makes The Man’ . He is looking like a Scientist in these pictures wearing Suit and Spectacles . !!!!!!!!

Aamir Khan is the greatest actor ever in the Indian film industry! I haven’t seen a more dedicated and hardworking actor than him! He’s one of the most intelligent person you’ll ever come across! I have immense respect for him due to his superb choice of movies and also due to his enormous contribution towards the society! It’s very shameful if some people are criticizing him on the intolerance issue without even going through the interview properly coz he didn’t say anything wrong or illogical! Stop highlighting failures only for aamir. Isn’t srk also having failures recently? Didn’t salman face failures in 2000s? Didn’t akshay face failures in most of his career except for 2007? Didn’t ajay also face failures? Didn’t hrithik face failures after his debut? Didn’t Mr. Bachchan face failures in 1990s? So? Everyone faces failures. It’s part of a life. Look at the current status of aamir. He is most successful and Biggest star in india and abroad. That’s all matters most.

Sultan has smashed all kind of advance booking records at major multiplexes in India. More than 400,000 tickets have been sold at PVR Cinemas, INOX and Cinepolis which is an all-time record. The number is unbelievable, to say the least.
Many theaters are playing Sultan in as many as 55 shows which is another record. Such craze has never been seen before for any Bollywood film. As by going by the trade experts, Sultan is all set to cross 40 crore on its opening day. Many are even predicting the film to shatter Happy New Year and Baahubali opening records.
