Recently we reported that the satellite rights of Hrithk Roshan’s Krrish 3 was sold for an eye-popping amount of Rs 38 crores and that record already stands broken. Aamir Khan’s next tentatively titled Dhuan, has just been sold for an even higher sum.
The satellite rights of the film has been sold to Sony Entertainment for 40 crores! Priti Shahani of Reliance Entertainment confirms the deal “Yes, the satellite rights have been sold to Sony and like all our recent blockbusters, this film too is a much-awaited and big-ticket film that has received its correct value”
Directed by Reema Kagti, Dhuan will release during the republic day weekend and will be Aamir’s first non-Christmas release in 3 years (apart from Dhobi Ghat).
The film also stars Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee.
