Less than a week to go for the release of 3 Idiots and the hype is surprisingly missing this time around, or is it? Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, 3 Idiots starring Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Boman Irani, is by far the biggest release of the year.
Expecting the movie to break Ghajini’s record is unfair, since 3 Idiots doesn’t really carry mass appeal of a Ghajini or a Wanted, and is expected to perform much better at multiplexes than single screens. Yet, we expect a film starring Aamir Khan to easily break opening week and weekend records, currently held by Love Aaj Kal, for the year.

Verdict:- At MAX “SUPER HIT” coz of it’s high cost and it being a Multiplex Movie
According to Hollywood.com,Avatar first day collection stands at $27 million(including 3.5$ midnight showings)
which is far below Twilight-New Moon($72 million) and Transformers2($62 million).Really dunno
the reason behind this performance.$75 million is the gross expected over the weekend.
Definately this movie will break records of this year but not the record of Gajni. It will be a super hit movie.

AVATAR– A visual treat!! or shud i call it a new Ad from asian paints..;) ha ha just kiddin.
It took James Cameron 15yrs to complete it and 1200 cr spent on it. But wat i wanna know is wat was new in it..?? i do agree d special effects wer 2 gud especially last 30min but excludin tat der was nothin new to rate it 5/5 or 10/10.
First 30min makes u interested with giant machines n robots movin around and d planet Pandora along with d blue monkeys(as dey call it) but later d romantic angle made it a bit borin. along with tat colourful creatures flyin n running around seems like an animated movie or as if playing a video game..;)
It s just like other sci-fi movies Good Vs Evil, d difference being Aliens(blue monkeys) being gud n humans being evil..;)
But d movie s worth for d last 30min wer u really enjoy it to d max.
