Salman Khan’s Kick has become the 5th film to cross the ‘100 crore distributors share’ mark, after Ek Tha Tiger, Chennai Express, Krrish 3 and Dhoom 3.
Back in 2012, Ek Tha Tiger was the first film to earn 100 crore for the distributors. While 3 Idiots collected more than 200 crore at the domestic box office, more than 60% of the film’s business came after the first week.
The share that the distributors get from multiplex business reduces with every passing week. For example, the distributors share from Week 1 multiplex business if 52.5%, it reduces to 44.5% in Week 2, 38% in Week 3 and 30% fourth week onwards. In short, the more a film collects in its first week, the higher its distributors share. This explains why 3 Idiots collected 202.6 crore at the box office, but its distributors share is lower than Ek Tha Tiger.
The highest distributors share for a film, currently, is Dhoom 3 with Rs 148.3 crore. The film collected Rs 189 crore in its first week at the domestic box office. That record is likely to stay intact for now as Kick will finish with a share of around 130 crore.

Dear, people get tired using their brains the whole day and they just want to be entertained with their families while watching the movies. They want their brains to get relaxed in the theatre. People don’t want torture even if the script is good and does make sense.
Now let’s come to the facts…
1. Did u find dhoom2 a sensible movie where a guy can jump from anywhere he wants and he can steal the precious stuff from almost everywhere in the world and will not sell it to anyone just because he wanted to collect all these things…. So what was he doing for his living??? But the fact is, the movie was entertaining and people liked it…
2. Do you think KMG does make sense where an alien who had so many powers that he actually converted a dumb headed guy into a super scientist but couldn’t defend himself on earth and needed help from that dumb guy to just escape…. But people loved the movie as it was fun…
3. Let’s not talk about the super hero series of Krrish as those movies can never make sense as they are super hero movies..
4. For agneepath, honestly tell me in reality, can an alone guy demolish 2 big giants with all their man force and powers singlehandedly? I guess the answer would be no but it was a good revenge drama and people found it entertaining.
So 1 thing is for sure, people just want to be entertained regardless of whether the movie is sensible or not.. So, stop pretending being more intelligent than Salmanfans and start accepting the facts…
Sallu is the ruler of this club but Singham returns will make history on 15 August and will touch 200 cr.

5 back to back blockbusters, one semi-hit and again blockbuster!! 7th Back to back 100 Crores grossers. Who can do this except Salman Khan, Thalaiva of Bollywood?
I have always said it would collect 240+ Crores. Still say this. Sometimes overconfidence has got me wrong. It’s fine.
Some Thakur fans like Chickrum, Sss Khan cum deleted comments badshah and Rotten Romance said it would not cross 170 Crores. Now, they have been saying it would cross Chennai Express.
Actually, the train that the devil walks past dabanggly was Chennai Express. He showed that he doesn’t give a damn about Koyla Carrying Express by walking past throwing away his bicycle. Kick has beaten CE by a margin in its first week no matter what excuses you want to give. The fact is that Kick is riding mainly on Salman’s shoulder. Overall, Kick has less advantages than CE had.
Earlier Salman’s films used to face competition from smaller films. For example, during Wanted release and Bodyguard release. Outimd did damage CE collections in its first two days but later it was CE because WOM was bad for Outimd.
Besides, Thakur’s fans’ inner sense does explain you why other films dare not clash with Salman’s but with SRK’s.
CE worked because of SRK coming into masala entertainer after OSO+ BB Director Rohit + Deepika + Salman’s first hug after their fight giving publicity to CE. That’s why it was only BB for SRK in four years. I won’t believe in thakur’s stardom and mettle until and unless HNY becomes BB. Meanwhile, hold on.
The Release in Eid Holiday was made big by Salman in 2008. Nobody cared about the potential of the Eid Holiday before he did.

Chun Chun Ke Badla Loonga Ki Jis Jisne Abhi KICK baare mein bina waja bakre hain, aane do un logon ki heroes’ ki films, kyun ki main Case Aur Face dono nahin bolta.
Finally, Salman Ek Lambay Race Ka Gudaa Hai, whereas Sarkar is a house cart that needs Gudi Deepika and Gudaa Rohit Shetty. Without them, this house cart i.e. sarkar can’t move. Lol!
On a serious note, Teesmaar Khan’s Ocean’s 11 remake edited by Joker Kunder won’t be able to go past 160 Crores even if it is released in 10,000 Screens. But the exhibitors do not have faith in the stardom of the sarkar of 3.7 Billions fans worldwide. So, I don’t think it will have that many screen space for a film of a fading star. Besides, hardly will anybody be watching a crap film after the story driven films like Marykom and Haider and a Hollywood level film like Bang Bang. Who will like to eat baasi tarkari (rotten veges) after the fresh ones?

They had beautiful stories.how can you expect reality in them? . Agneepath had a class unlike bhais movies. D2 again had some secretes which were n’t revealed(how he changed the dress and became an old man so fast, and 2-3 more) but it was never as poor as ready,bodyguard,ett,dang2,jai ho,kick.. Also, maxm people believe that d2 is one of the most stylish action movie of the century. People argue with me with 3-4 scenes of d2, 1 scene of agneepath. By that logic, i can give more than 100 illogical scenes from one kick. 3-4 scenes in a movie don’t make a movie bad. What will you call a movie which is senseless from starting to end?
@anand: when did i suggest people to watch off beat movie only? Everyone has got different taste.so it depends on theater. My fav genre is romance/action/sci fi. Whatever may be genre,be it off beat,period drama,romance,action,sci fi,deshi masala,horror, over all it sud be good movie. That’s it.

cross dhoom 3. if Kick had released last year it would have crossed 3 idiots, so our bhai has taken SRKs position as the biggest no 2 star in Bollywood, feeling sad that Aamir despite being a medium scale star for the past 6 years except for 4 months when CE topped the all time charts.
