The makers of ‘Raabta’ have postponed the release of their film by 4 months, averting the box office clash with Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2 on 10th February next year.
Starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon in the lead, ‘Raabta’ will now release in theatres on 9th June 2017.
The film, produced by Bhushan Kumar and Dinesh Vijan, marks the directorial debut of Vijan, who has previously produced films like ‘Cocktail’, ‘Love Aaj Kal’, ‘Badlapur’ just to name a few.
Jolly LLB 2 now gets a solo release, two weeks after the biggies ‘Raees’ and ‘Kaabil’ on 26 January next year.

Good decision . It does not make any sense to clash on 10th Feb . Sushant is riding high after the success of MSD and Kriti is coming after Dilwale so this film is important for both of them . So now Jolly LLB 2 gets a Solo release with Valentine’s Day falling on Tuesday . Raabta is releasing one week after TEPK and 2 weeks before Tubelight . Dinesh Vijan has been a successful producer but now he has to prove his skills as a director . !!!!!!!!!

Great news! Though the genres were poles apart, Jolly LLB 2 would probably still have the edge due to the presence of Akki who is in prime form, though a Valentines day would be apt for Raabta. However, this works well for Sushant who deserves a solo release date after the major success of MSD TUS. I hope the other stars also stop fighting for release dates and let their egos aside for the betterment of their own films. Still hoping for the suicidal clash of Jan 26 2017 to avert!

How stupid of the makers! Rajneesh Duggal anyways keeps delivering back to back failures every 2 months and Sonarika is pretty much unknown despite her acting credentials on tv and the south.
