Pyaar Impossible directed by Jugal Hansraj releases this weekend. Here’s the brief storyline
In Ankert University, California, Alisha is the name of that dream everyone wished came true. The most beautiful girl on campus, she makes hearts flutter like leaves in the wind. A snap of her fingers and a line of boys, waiting on her every whim. Everybody Loves Alisha (character played by Priyanka Chopra)!
It is no surprise then that Abhay (Uday Chopra) loves her too. More than his computer programs and MAC stores he thinks of Alisha. Who is Abhay? Abhay is a nerdy, awkward, socially challenged, bespectacled geek of the college who is so far removed from her world that she doesn’t even know that people like him actually exist. This is a love story of impossible proportions, how can a man like Abhay ever hope to be with a woman like Alisha, and therein lies the story..
Abhay has quietly loved Alisha all his life. One day he musters up enough courage to go and express his true feelings to her and realizes that it is never gonna happen. He comes to terms with the fact that Alisha is a Princess and he is just a Geek. That is when their ways eventually part. Later, their paths cross again, as Abhay is busy trying to launch his career. Fate again brings him face to face with the woman of his dreams, Alisha.
Will Abhay have the strength to believe in himself and attempt to achieve what he never thought possible? Will Alisha ever be able to see the man behind those glasses, beyond what her idea of the perfect man is? Is everything fate or can one take destiny in their own hands? Is this possible or just Pyaar Impossible?
It seems like a desparate copy of some hollywood films like something about mary and all….
I have the promos of the movie, but it just don’t look that interesting. I think it has to do with the cast as well. Uday Chopra is not the kind of hero most of us would like to see. He is not that far away from looking like a geek in real life as well. So, there is nothing that interesting. It was something else when we saw Sharukh Khan in Rab ne bana di jodi, changing his image. Maybe the film will do ok business, but I don’t think it will be a big hit. I didn’t like Priyanka in the movie clips either. It was nothing new. And her dress sense is getting worse.

I liked the promo and I think Udhay Chopra fits for this role.. that’s the reason they gv him actually this role. coz he’s not a good looking guy.. with little more makeup, stupid glasses and hairstyle so he’ll look as a geek.. today I’m totally free and will go and watch it if it’s Yash Raj fillms.. at least I can trust this company making good movies.. another movie is released which is Dulha Mel Gaya.. and if I changed my plan to watch this one.. it’s just because of Shahrukh.. not for a movie starring Fardin Khan.

I think the 3 Idiots storm will continue as peopel are willing to watch it again and again . and evrybody fell in love with speech from silencer . i think it is one of the funniest scene of this decade

i looks good romantic and udhay did very good job and priyanka looks very cute . i dont think so it would be super hit but it can be above avg / avg.

Looks more interesting than originally expected. Nice romantic diversion without huge expectations probably.
Shahrukh reportedly has 50-60 min of screen time in the movie. Now, in which def. can this b called a guest appearance???

The previews were good and its exciting th watch uday chopra as a geek and the gorgeous priyanka.

I got the news now from the staff team who’re working at our Seef cinemas about the movie Pyaar Impossible..they say that the Min of Information team who watched it as a testing movie, before the first show at 2.30, which will start right now, are praising it and loved it.. they said it’s a very nice movie.. good news.. as I expected to be one of Yash Raj’s best movies.. I booked for the next show at 05.30pm and will come back this evening with my review.

I’m back from cinema.. a nice beautiful movie as I expected.
The story is nice and got lot’s of meanings.. that the beauty of the skin, face, is not everything required in the relationship between a man and a woman, and that a human could look nice but could’ve bad thought, could be a bad person.. could be a thief or a killer.. and a man could look a geek but could be beautiful from inside.. that’s the main pont in the story which I assume everyone would like and would admire after watching this good movie from Yash Chopra & Aditya Chopra ( Indicine Team: why didn’t u mention on the first lines of your above review that it’s a yash chopra movie?!!)
Performance: Udhai Chopra in his best performance after Dhoom 2 and in a good leading role for 1st time in his life.. he fitted so much in this role.
Priyanka: is playing a beautiful gorgeous girl but she’s a bit shallow, naieve coz she can’t see anything “deeply”, a bit shallow who trusts ppl immediately and falls in love with good looking guys but stupid! but a nice woman, she looked very beautiful in this movie specially with her new hair cut.
Deno Mureo: fitted very much in his role.
There’s also a cute.. very cute little girl with a blue eyes in the movie! she looks like Aishwariya when she was little girl.
The songs: a mixture of western and hindi.. all the songs were nice during the movie
Allover.. a nice movie, entertaining, and I enjoyed watching it more than the movie 3 Idiots.
How much it will do at the box office.. noone can say now

Just got back from Dulha Mil gaya, I left before the movies end in the interval, didn’t get a chance to see SRK as he apprently arrives in the second half, the film is so poor, that no one, not even Aamir Khan could rescue it, no wonder SRK delayed the film so long.
The film begins with Fardeen having to marry a girl who wears glasses, speaks with an atrocious accent (she needs to be dubbed) and what not, basically a Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi but with inverted roles. The film itself (well the first half) is filled with poor jokes, a poor script and ensures that Fardeen Khan puts the last nail in his coffin as far as his acting career is concerned.
I heard theres a funny scene with SRK and Sush in the second half, in fact on 2nd thoughts should have stayed for it, may have got my moneys worth SRK there, but no love lost.

so the film is an SRK film when he has no appearance for the first 80 minutes, really? I’ve never heard of the “main actor” appearing in only the second half of the film. So I suppose on that note Om shanti Om was the whole industry’s film bar Aamir and I suppose Saawariya was Salman Khans film and the reason it flopped should be placed squarely on his shoulders. Dont understand your logic other than a reason to diss SRK before he has even released a film that is “his”.
This definitely is not an SRK film, whatever the official site says, SRK did this film as a favour, he even raised a concern when his name was used to promote the film, he didn’t promote the film, how much more does he need to do to distance himself from it? The true SRK film will be arriving in just over a month.

Even for the biggest blockbuster movies 100% of the audience didn’t agree that they were some good movies.. because we’re different ppl in our characters, loving different movies, there4 we can’t agree all 100% and vote for any movie and say: yeah.. that’s the best movie this year.. some ppl would find 3 Idiots or the majority would find it the best movie in the history of bollywood.. and some find it a passtime movie ( like I do).. sometimes I do love movies which u all didn’t like.. so noone can convince others that this movie is good.. very good.. or this movie is bad.. very bad.. it depends on u guys what u llike or dislike.
Naveed: Yash Raj & Yash Chopra’s movies are excellent.. if 2 or 3 didn’t work so that happens with everyone, but they did (excellent) movies.. if some movies didn’t work that will,, e.g. Kabul Express.. what a nice funny movie which Indian audience didn’t like!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this movie I consider it a quality comedy movie.. probably some audience don’t digist or understand these type of comedy!!except the “loud” one e.g. Welcome, Golmaal, De Dana Dan, 3 Idiots, Hera Pheri series, etc.!!!
And.. I saw Udhay Chopra on NDTV with Priyanka talking last night, and they asked him why he didn’t show up for almost 3 years. He said that he was busy with the script of this movie.. probably he wanted to do a good movie after the failure of Neil & Nikki.. such a silly kachra movie he did in the past, so the father & the brother Aditya were working on this movie for him and they gave him a good one.. good movies need time, won’t finish in 45days of shooting!!
As I said about Deno Moreo.. that he fitted in his role ( when u see the movie you’ll find him suitable)
Nauman: and as I expected that Dulha Mil Gaya will not be a good movie there4 I didn’t go to watch it and I don’t want to.. it’s not a Shahrukh’s movie.. how much I love and adore Shahrukh.. I love him so much that I can’t see him in any bad movie.. there4 I didn’t go and watch it coz I don’t accept Fardeen Khan as a hero in any movie.. and I’m sure 100% that Shahrukh agreed to participate in this movie just to satisfy his friends.. that’s all.
