Apart from Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 2, there are not many big-budget films lined up for release during the Indian Premiere League season 5 which starts in April and ends in May.
In June 2012, there are 5 biggies and 1 small-budget film scheduled for release. What’s more all films are different and look very interesting, atleast on paper! Have a look
- June 1st 2012: First release of June is one of the most awaited releases of 2012 – Aamir Khan’s Talaash, directed by Reema Kagti. The film also stars Rani Mukherji and Kareena Kapoor.
- June 8th 2012: A week after Talaash, Shanghai directed by Dibakar Banerjee (director of Love Sex Aur Dhokha, Khosla Ka Ghosla, Oye Lucky Lucky Oye) is locked for release. The film has an interesting star cast too – Emraan Hashmi, Abhay Deol and Kalki.
- June 15th 2012: Rowdy Rathore marks Akshay Kumar’s return to the big screen as an action hero. The film is a masala entertainer, directed by Prabhu Deva (Wanted), also starring Dabangg actress Sonakshi Sinha.
- June 22nd 2012: Has two releases – one Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra’s untitled film directed by Kunal Kohli and the sequel to 1920, Evil returns starring Aftab Shivdasani and Tia Bajpai, directed by Bhushan Patel.
- June 29th 2012: Will witness the release of Preity Zinta’s first film in a long-long time Ishkq In Paris, which also is her first home-production. It’s directed by Prem Soni, who last directed Main Aur Mrs Khanna.

Undoubtedly its gonna be rowdy rathore……..the muv was a blockbuster hit down south,which ran more than 200 days……the story is simply superb and the cop version feauturing akshay will be a treat for his fans……..having watched the muv i can say rr is surely gonna be akshays carrier biggest hit……..

This is the highest ever acquisition price in the history of the Hindi film industry. Competitors like Reliance Entertainment and Fox Star Studios were also in the running and are said to have offered Rs 115 crore and Rs 105 crore, respectively, for the sequel to the 2010 action comedy. Talash trailer is not up to the mark…it attract only intelegence audiance which seems difficult pathway for big earning….but RR is a atbb in south cinema it wil defenately block talash earnings in june….!!!
“Talaash” will be biggest grosser in June followed by “Rowdy Rathore”, but one noticable thing is “Sanghai” will affect the business of both “Talaash” and “Rowdy Rathore” becoz of its script, direction n last but most importantly Abhay Deol has his own multiplex audience and Emraan Hashmi is hitting gold in silver screens, thus, good opening is guaranted for the film. A tricky situation for both Aamir and Akshay. Its very similar to the situation in Diwali 2012, with “YRF-SRK” film clashing with “Son of Sardar” and Khiladi-786″.
definitely the first choice will b ROWDY RATHORE…. the movie has been remade in 4 different languages and became blockbuster every time . now dis is a national release and who can deny AKSHAY is the biggest action hero in india. the indian jacky chan …. akshay’s fans are eagerly waiting to watch him in action avatar…. the posters have garnered huge response …. satelite rights were offered with 40 cr but UTV denied and wants to sell it at 45cr. everyone can imagine it will go the dabangg way in the north , UP ,bihar .. sure shot blockbuster
SHANGHAI can’t affect both the movies .multiplex audience will prefer TALAASH and single screen audience will prefer ROWDY RATHORE. so SANGHAI is in danger
