Salman Khan’s health scare, could delay his films

While enjoying tremendous success professionally, Salman Khan is facing health issues that could be bigger than expected.

About 6 months back, just before the release of Bodyguard, the superstar had been to the US for an operation to treat a nerve disorder. Back then, he said, the disorder would take time to heal and he’d have to return to US quite a few times for check-ups.

Sources say, that Salman will directly head to the United States from Cuba (where he is currently shooting for Ek Tha Tiger with Katrina) for a medical check up. The actor is suffering from a brain aneurysm, that causes abnormal swelling of an artery. As a result of this visit, many projects could be temporarily put on hold or delayed.

When quizzed Salman says  ”The visit has been due for a while. The doctors have successfully treated the trigeminal neuralgia that I was suffering from. But I still don’t know how big the aneurysm is. I just pray it has reduced in size, because if it has increaed, I will be in deep trouble. And that will put a lot of people in trouble too. A lot is at stake (with his films).”

Salman is supposed to return in March and start working for Dabaang 2. This sequel to Dabaang is produced and directed by his brother Arbaaz Khan.
