Sanjay Dutt’s wife Manyata, who has been diagnosed with a tumour in her liver, was admitted to the Golbal hospital in suburban Mumbai on Wednesday.
Dr Ajay Chaughule, a heart and cardio thoracic surgeon and heart and lung transplant surgeon at Global Hospital, has said that Manyata would need to undergo several tests to determine her condition, after which it will be decided if she has to undergo any surgery.
“We are doing complete investigation for everything for some problems she has.. There are lots of tests that she will have to undergo” Dr Chaughule said.
Sanjay Dutt, who is out on a 30 day parole from jail, was by her side.
Dutt married Manyata in 2008. The couple have two 3-year-old children, a boy name Shahraan and a girl named Iqra.
