Akshay Kumar’s Entertainment is steady on the lower side at the domestic box office. Although the film fared well on its 2nd Friday, it was affected by the release of Ajay Devgn’s Singham Returns at both multiplexes and single-screens.
Entertainment still has a long way to go to emerge a decent success and the low opening weekend business ensured that the film would battle against Singham Returns just to recover costs.
The Sajid-Farhad directed film will finish with net box office collections of around 70-75 crore, which is what it should have collected in its first week.

It really hurts me to see akki punishing himself by doing films like entertainment.my elder brother is a big fan of akki since khiladi days and since then he has watched every akki film on first day first show.but of late I hv seen him return home after a akki movie with a sad face more often than not.
He had left all hopes on akki after he hd a bad 2013 but was pleasantly surprised to see him in a gd film like holiday.thus he was again upbeat about watching a akki film but little did he know that akki had done this film’entertainment’ by only looking at the pay cheque.
So mr.akshay kumar if not for urself but atleast for ur loyal fans like my elder brother stop being greedy and only try to sign films whose script u like.u r a gd actor and a superstar but if u keep on punishing urself by doing films like entertainment then I m sorry to say but ur carrer will have a sad end.
