Dum Maro Dum Box Office Opening
With stiff competition from IPL and poor pre-release hype – the films biggest USP was Deepika Padukone’s hot item number – Dum Maro Dum has opened to a below average response at the box office on Friday. The paid preview shows received a dull response and the Friday opening has meant that the film will be yet another failure for Abhishek Bachchan, unless it picks up big time on Saturday and Sunday.
The Friday night shows could be affected by the big Mumbai vs Chennai cricket match and the story could be similar for the weekend, with the nation experiencing cricket fever after the World Cup victory early this month.
Abhishek’s last release Game, that released a day before the World Cup final, was a total washout and Dum Maro Dum could be yet another victim of cricket.
On the positive side though, the Dum Maro Dum Reviews have been pretty good. The film has received a 59 on 100 rating, which clearly suggests that the Abhishek Bachchan starrer is one of the better reviewed films this year.

the best movie I have seen last few year. Abhishek rocks ..i can defently say abhishek is better actor then salman …i don’t know why people like dabbang and they don’t like dum maaro dum …guys change us test…i can proudly say that dum maaro dum rocks.

Good movie
good performance by Abhishek as an police officer . Pratiek Babbar is also good.

OMG Some of you guys are disgusting! Anyways..I def agree with the article the biggest USP of the movie was Deepika, and she is just in that item song..but im super excited to go see this movie tomorrow..hopefully the box-office picks up

i don know why i never wan to watch abhishek movie til now ..coz he is too tall cant dance properly and acting so bad i though tat better to be a bussiness man much be better 4 u…acting is so bad coz of tat til now i never watch ur movie…i dont know wat ur act at dum maro dum may be doing some stupid acting so i m not interested to watch ….i lik salman khan in bollywood industry he is da best from al da actor…
