Dhoom 3 has collected around 24 crore on its 6th Day at the domestic box office – yet another record-breaking day for the Aamir Khan starrer. The film hasn’t dropped below the 20 crore mark since its release last weekend, a feat that no other film has achieved.
Dhoom 3 has now collected Rs 173-174 crore in its first 6 days, the first week business is likely to be around 190 crore net. The YRF film has absolutely no competition in Week 2 and should take advantage of the extended New Year weekend.
The 245 crore record for the highest grosser of all time, currently held by Krrish 3, is likely to be surpassed in the coming week.

i have noticed in previews post where @dinda 11 says that even ce have almost double more screens then 3i let me show you that ce screens were more than 3 idiots just for first 7 days after 7th day ce screens reduced from 3550 to 1300 with competition and 3i screens increased to 1149 to 1800 screens with no competation and ce screens were reducing weak by weak with no competitions and at the same time 3i don,t have any competation for 3 or 4 weaks and yeah for aamir fans ce is crap where 3 idiots is the second best movie after sholay(good joke) so how can you compare these 2 movies

Today we will know if the movie is only hype or really appreciated. CE did 20 cr with 2500 screen on 15th aug. Dhoom3 is doing 23-24 in 4500 screen on similar national holiday. BOI is giving higher number than produces. Really amazing things are happening for Dhoom3. Anyway I dont think it will cross CE before 14 days. Lets see.I have seen this movie. And I can say this is not 3I. So crossing 3I 2nd week is not possible

Wow! This is simply mindblowing. 3 all time highest grossing movies by Aamir in span of 6 years. He is the undisputed king of box office. The father of 100 and 200 crore club, and with the speed it is going, and no big flim on its way,until Jai Ho arrives Aamir will achieve 300 crore. I am sure SRK fans are feeling a little insecure because SRK is losing his no. 1 spot to Aamir and Salman since 2008. Anyway all the best for his Happy New Year. And I feel that Jai Ho is going to be the second highest grossing movie after Dhoom 3.
