Dhoom 3 has collected around 24 crore on its 6th Day at the domestic box office – yet another record-breaking day for the Aamir Khan starrer. The film hasn’t dropped below the 20 crore mark since its release last weekend, a feat that no other film has achieved.
Dhoom 3 has now collected Rs 173-174 crore in its first 6 days, the first week business is likely to be around 190 crore net. The YRF film has absolutely no competition in Week 2 and should take advantage of the extended New Year weekend.
The 245 crore record for the highest grosser of all time, currently held by Krrish 3, is likely to be surpassed in the coming week.

Wached D3 today and it is really a worst movie……..there is nothing to watch. I don’t know how such movie could be appreciated and Earning huge amount of money….It’s magic of Doom Franchise and Aamir’s stardom and personality, I believe. I still remember when I watched D2…It was amazing, All robbery, stunts were logical and Hrithik performance was great….but here with D3, complete disappointment. :(

Dhoom 3 will become the highest grossing Hindi film ever in just ten days. The highest grossing Hindi film till date is Chennai Express at 208 crore nett and the way Dhoom 3 is going this figure will be breached at the end of business on Sunday. The film has already grossed around 160 crore nett in six days and next four days should see business of at least 50 crore nett even in worst case scenario. Chennai Express took 21 days to become the highest grosser ever while the earlier highest all time grossers 3 Idiots and Ghajini managed the feat in a similar time to Dhoom 3. Both films took around 10-11 days. The distributor share of the film will be second or third highest ever in just seven days.

Aamir’s acting is superb but it won’t make sense if you compare the movie with SRK’s CE .. CE has stiff competition with OUTIM2 and hence Dhoom3 has no competition, Dhoom3 is a famous franchise and yeah i agree its my perfectionist here but still Its not fair to compare it with CE. I still chose SRK over Aamir. Hope HNY will come with storm.

D3 is simply rocking at boxoffice, suddenly some people are thinking about 3i quality and standard, one question to them is ce or k3 (as some sites say so) better product than 3i, i know only Aamir and Raju can give another 3i,some other also can do but there is very low chance, d3 rocked the boxoffice,he broke srk and hr record and not only initial but also lifetime record and with also by big margin and so early, i know some haters will say if ce or k3 will get these holiday than it will collect more than d3, but this is so called ‘if’, a fan said d3 collected on holiday just 24cr, while ce collected 20cr on 7th day with less screen and comparison but he didn’t know same ce collected 12.5 cr on monday,11.5cr on tuesday and 12.5cr on wednesday again, while d3 hasn’t came down below 20cr so it collective earn higher throught its run so how can it jump too high, as per officials d3 collected 173.46cr in 6day with 2 holiday and collected 17cr more than ce 7days & pp 156.41cr, had 3holiday, 1day of week remaning

I think amir fans always say amir has epic movie on this name called 3i and they are right but they forget salman ‘s mpk,srk’s ddlj which also one of the most loved movie of that era and people still love them.
@aks i havent seen any amirfans who admit D3 had 800 more screen then CE…holiday is alwayz a big adv then screens and i know YJHD and D2 did on nonholiday release with around 3300 screens…in today for big star screensize matters a lot as movies fat decide in a week whether its salman,srk,ranbir or akshay….u cant take away the success of movies like ce,ett,bodyguard,k3 as they released on holiday…as holiday are adv same today screens are also big part of growing bussiness…
